you also need to keep in mind that the projectors used in those lights arent the best... and they really do not show what hid and projector quality is all about.... Ive been doing retrofits for about 10 years now, and i can tell you this first hand!! if you want proper projectors done, then lmk im going to start a group buy on here, if enough interest comes up....

Ok all, finially got my retrofit done and finished.... I talked about this before, with doing the retrofit's for us members who didnt happen to get a 2011+ So my truck i decided to do a quad retrofit.. with quad angel eyes, led turn signals, lots of other lil goodies... So the question is, who here would actually be interested in getting a retrofit done I only use top grade parts, bi xenon parts, everything carries a full 1 year warranty, including the workmanship... will post pics tomorrow of my setup, As to see everything im going to need to take pics tonight ( and its like -20 outside atm ) Look forward to hearing all your replies

I had a customer come in, with a smashed up cluster.... ( we do glass at this shop as well ) now they asked me if there is any way i can get her a replacement cluster, as hers is all smashed up... I obviously said yes we can, but i do not know if the mileage is stored on the cluster or your ecu/pcm etc.... does anyone know where the mileage is stored? also if there needs to be any programming done to have the vehicle run? also furthermore, if it possible to just re/re the guts of the replacement cluster for her, to avoid any charges if there is any Thanks

so with these, you think adding the pressure higher then listed, isnt a bad idea? granted id like to sell the 20's that i have for it... maybe something a lil lighter.... although for a 20, they arent to heavy... but i could be wrong

we both drive this thing like a lil baby.... i have a 600 awhp car to beat on and sport bikes... so i dont find the need to be heavy on it.... also she is used to race cars and bikes, so the lil noise difference wont bother her at all

if i was 16 that would happen.... but since im not... im just looking to help gain the wife some mpg for her daily commute to work and home

im not... hence asking.... k&n state that you get gains... and we know that if an engine can breath more efficiently then it will make power easier, and require less work to move, which should equate to mpg gain.... just like on one of my cars i built a turbo for.... when my foot wasnt in it all the time, i actually picked up 7mpg

im not really interested in it for the hp aspect of things... more so the mpg gains... which again, i have been reading they help TONS on the edge

curious to what the real world gains are for ppl here... with either a cai or an exhaust etc.... on all cars in the past, have benefited from that stuff.... so any and all input would be amazing Thanks

isnt working today, and did last night.... press and hold the button, and it beeps once, then 3 more beeps after that.... can anyone tell me whats wrong? 2 Chirps BRAKE is being pressed, or the HOOD is open 3 Chirps One of the vehicles DOORS are open 4 Chirps TACH not programmed - see dealer 5 Chirps The KEY is in the ignition 6 Chirps The Remote Start System is in SERVICE/VALET mode is what ive found... but ive checked EVERY single door, a few times... and all is closed... and the system indicated all doors are closed as well....

is there a difference between the nav system from say an 08 mkx and the 08 edge limited? ive seen some things about thx or something on the lincoln one, and other then its silver.... is there any differences i should know about? and will they work in one another? ie i swap out my 08 limted's nav for the mkx nav etc Thanks in advance all

So i just picked up my wifes 08 edge limited tonight... and was shocked to see it actually didnt have a back up cam.... stupid beeping sensors, but not a cam... not in the mirror or on the nav screen..... now i had a work 08 f150 and it had the backup cam in the mirror... then we got a 2010 fx4 f150 and it was a beautiful full backup cam on the nav screen.... any way to get this on my wifes 08? Cheers all

I can get 5 sets right now at about 300 bucks a set.... so id charge that as a core or just mod existing ppls lights and return them when complete.... There is tons to workout in details but let's hope it does.... As these don't make me money but they do help the community out

I think id charge a core or outright purchase.... I used to do them for 525 on jetta's then plus w.e mods ppl wanted..such as ppg painted color matched backing, led markers or day time running lights, angel eyes, demon eyes etc..... So there is lots of options available

WWell id do them for the 07-10 versions as I believe they could really benefit from bi xenon hid projectors

what have you all done to pick up the mpg or performance on your edge?? I usually build turbo systems for most of the cars ive owned.... wondering if its worth while doing for this engine... and how well it would react to boost so everyone, what have you done to yours for performance or mpg

just bought my wife a 2008 edge limited..... so just wondering what things i should know off the batt about these... any pro's/con's from the ppl who have had them a while etc... Thanks in advance
