Hi there. I think the 07 and 08 are both really nice. The Edge is nice all around...But I can honestly say, I love the SYNC in my 08. Just as Good_Hands stated, the automatic power lift gate is wonderful also. I have enjoyed grocery shopping for a change...I just prance out to my Edge and hit the key fob button twice to lift her up, then twice to put her back down... Love it! lol.

I have my Ipod touch plugged into my vehicle and it works really well... BUT, when I choose the option to "play all" so it will actually start playing all my songs on the ipod, it does great until I turn the vehicle off. To simplify, It begins playing all songs alphabetically, so depending on how far I have to drive, I may be down to the songs that begin with the letter D... After shutting my vehicle off and getting out, when I get back in and restart my vehicle it will still play the song it was playing before, BUT does not go back to the "play all" setting. So I have to restart the play all setting every time I return to the vehicle, and search go to the D's and then scroll down to where I want it to begin again... Rather annoying. Is there a way it can remember to still "play all" when I return to my vehicle? Maybe I just need to set it a different way? Any advice is appreciated...

No new update yet on the tire situation. When they installed all of my other things, they said they could not hear the noise in the tire. After the Holidays my Edge will go right back to the dealership because the noise is still there! I will ask of of them to ride with me, and I will be sure to point it out! Will update when I can...

I think that I am going to move near You so I can benefit from the gas rices and the schnucks discount. *grins*

Yeah, I only have like 335 miles on mine so far, ALL city driving, and the "comuter" is reading 14.3 average. So, I think it will go up as I break it in...

I am LOVING it! That lil sound is making me crazy though. Now that I know it is there, I am always listening for it. I will keep you informed. They are installing my dvd headrests and remots start tomorrow, so I told them to check the tire noise. and, I would not say it is the chrome clad creaking...It really sounds like a rock falling around in there when moving...

Yes!!! That is strange...I hear the same thing, I noticed it while backing out of my garage, it was echoing in there. I called Ford, and I told them to check it out. Told them it almost sounded like a rock stuck in my rim somewhere. Wonder what this is... Very surprised now knowing someone else is hearing the same exact noise...Left rear wheel... I have a 2008 White Sand w/ 20's I am taking it to Ford in the morning!

You have to excuse 07...He is overly medicated...and gets very hyper *shakes finger at 07* Calm down...lol I have heard this rumor. I too am used to XM, but so far so pleased with sirius. Do try researching on the net, I have not heard anything on these boards about it.

Just an Update!!! I called my dealer, and we got the one on the lot. The only thing it did not have in it was the all weather mats, which are being ordered... SO, as of TODAY, I am an EDGE OWNER!!!!! Oh, and talk about SYNC....Spoiled!!! I am SPOILED! I never want to pick up my phone to dial a number again! I have not had a lot of time to play with everything, but so far, I love it all! WIll post pics soon!!! :happy feet:

Ahoy Maties... Okay, so I ordered my 08 Edge about a week or so ago... My question is, is there something special about ordering? I mean....well kinda hard to explain... I ordered my edge because I wanted to make sure I got an Edge with everything I want on it....Which meant loaded! BUT, since ordering, my dealership that I ordered from has gotten an Edge in Identical to what I ordered... 08, white sand, camel int, fully loaded....everything... So, should I go talk to them about getting that one? Should I wait for my personalized order? Is there any special things we get for actually "ordering" one? I am just curious.... I assumed the reason everyone actually places an order for these is to get them exactly like they want them, but hey, they have one at the lot now... :stats:
