ughhh...that sucks!!! Well, we could look at it like this....just like a new home, new cars may have bugs to work out also... I dont know...you could have just gotten one of those ones that there was a little something not right with it... however, we need to keep an eye out on here to see if anyone else has issues! Hi there bri! Well, heat of the seats and interior should not be much of an issue with the roof because here is a sun shade that comes with it, and it keeps all the sun out when you want it to. So you could just use the sun shade for the hot sun while your car is sitting somewhere... As for the color...I personally like the med lt stone as well! For some reason to me it just looks very elegant and clean...I don't know, there is something about it.... I especially think that it goes great with certain colors like the blazing copper and so forth.... Hard call, but I like the stone... Good luck!!! :hyper: PS..the one I did go see, when I looked in the inside it was the light stone....it was cloth however, BUT it still looked really NICE!!!

Well, the black was very very pretty...and of course the white only comes in the Lincoln MKX... I have not seen the creme brulee in person yet, BUT, I want to...I am either going with the Creme Brulee or the blazing copper...or maybe even pewter metalic. I need to see them in person though...but those are the 3 that I like sice seeing them online.. the white on the MKX was very pretty though!!! What about you? :yup:

Hey everyone...well, my local dealer still does not have any in, BUT, I found out a dealer about 30 minutes away in Smithfield NC had an Edge and a MKX! So, last night after work I went to see them finally! I WAS EVEN MORE AMAZED!!!!!! The edge was fabulous! It was everything I expected and more! Now, I did not get to get all in the inside of the edge because the dealership was closed by the time I got there...but I peeked in of course, and it looked great...and the outside....wow!!! Looks sturdy and sharp, beautiful! It was a black SE, the aluminum rims...It really was a beauty and was not even the SEL... The MKX was a white one, Loaded from what I could tell...and GORGEOUS as well. it was bling blingin' if you know what I mean...chorme everywhere, and the vista roof. They both really blew my mind...Ford has done a great job with the edge Cant wait till our local dealer gets some so I can see more colors.... :happy feet:

I wanted to make sure I am correct on prices... The SEL, with navigation, vista roof, 18' wheels, floor mats, and so on... Almost fully loaded...will be around 34-35 thousand, right? The build your own vehicle shows around that price on the ford site.. I read on yahoo where a dealer somewhere was trying to charge someone around 7 thousand more than that, saying around 40-42 thousand would be the correct price??? For those of you who have bought or seen almost fully to fully loaded edges, what has the price sticker been showing?

Ughhh..so it does? About how much, do you know? I want 18's BUT, goodness knows I want decent gas mileage.. Has anyone seen the 17's vs the 18's? Which looked better??? I like the chrome 18's...I just dont know if I could settle for the non chrome 17's... Hmmmm...something to ponder!

Hey there... Yes, I have been doing that for a week now... Ford site says that there is one at the dealership I keep calling every day...It has said there is one on the lot for about a week now...lol...and still...they know nothing except..."one should be here any day." lol All the other lots that are near by, they all still say "coming soon" on the ford site... I just reallllly want to see one...I am 99.9% sure this is the vehicle that I want... But you know how, you like to see it, touch it, check it all out....

Hey all...How is it looking in your areas as far as the edges being on the lots yet? There are still NO edges in any of the ford dealerships around where I live yet... I check with the local dealer every day and all they know is they should be getting on any day....that has been going on for a week now...lol I just want to see one...sit in one, and check it alllll out.... Ahhh, so the DVD thing is dealter installed? This explains it. Does this mean all dealers do this, or only some? ?? And yeah, I thought the white choc was for the MKX also...but I had seen two people say something about the edge and white chocolate color...SO, I am glad you are thinking the same thing I am... I would love to see the creme brulee in person! I love white...and since there is no actual white I was checking out the creme brulee........but the orage is awesome also... thanks for the answers!!!!!

Hi, if anyone could help me with these questions it would be great... 1. Okay, on the FORD site, when you download the online brochure, it shows that there is an option for DVD screens to be put in the back of the headrests that way you can have the vista roof and the dvd. However, when you try to "build and price your edge" it does not give that option. Does anyone know what the deal is??? 2. I have heard on other sites that there is a "white chocolate" color option??? But I have not seen this as an option on the website or anywhere else either...Can anyone shed some light on this also? 3. For those of you who know....If you get the 18" rims...and the tires are bigger, does it make your MPG worse? Okay...lots of questions... Thanks for ANY help I can get on these...

Favorite edge color so far???

Hi everyone... Has anyone else gotten their edge yet? If so, how is it? Do you love it? Those of you who have driven it for a few days or so...how do you like it so far? How is the MPG looking? I still have not seen one in person yet. Ford.com keeps saying there is 1 on the lot in my small city but I go there, and NO edge. I hope to see one this week. It will probably be April before I am able to buy one though...
