Hey there! Thanks for your input. So, why do you think the mpg stickers say one thing? A company cannot really fib that much, can they?

Sorry about that! They are saying the glare is on the windshield. It is so bad they cannot see to drive at times when it is really sunny. And this is coming from people with camel interior... :yup:

Hi there... So, would the preproduction edges be the ones that went out to some of the buyers as well? Because this is coming from people that have actually bought the edge, they are posting it on other sites. (see www.fordedge.org)

Hi there...I plan on getting Navi and Serius. What is the issue you are talking about? Are you saying you cannot scroll through serius stations while moving, or you can? Just wanted to know the problems you are finding, if any? Tnanks!

Keep us informed please with MPG. I would love to know what different people are getting.... This is apparently a HUGE topic right now. I keep hearing so many talk about the fact that the sticker MPG is so far off from what they are getting with city driving... I live in a small city, not a TON of traffic...Not a little amount. Just right I guess. So I wonder... I love the Edge, and I want it. But I really hope that MPG is a lot better than what people are calculating so far. They are getting MPG like you would in a regular SUV....which does not make sense for a CUV.... right? If you have any ideas on what the problem is, I would love to hear those also... Okay, to all of you that own the Edge with the camel interior... What is the verdict thus far? I am hearing some people say that the glare is so terrible they want to sell their edge. (no kidding, on another forum place) Then I hear some that say they have not had a problem with the glare... This is ONLY with the camel interior color from what I am seeing, and I would love to hear what the owners have to say about a sunny day with camel interior... Lets hear your thoughts... :wacko:

Hey all. I keep hearing not so great reviews on the MPG that the Edge is getting in the city. I mean, is it really that bad? How congested is the city you live in? If the sticker says approx 17 city, how can it be somewhere around 13 and 14 mpg city driving for a lot of folks? How could the sticker be that far off? What are all of you that have the edge experiencing??

I don't know...but I wonder if it is something to wait for. I mean, I have not bought my edge yet, and I wonder if this is something that I should wait for? I really don't know that I "Need" that much technology. I really do want the Navigation System, because I am terrible with directions. That, I will get a lot of use out of. But, I dont know that I need something to send messages for me, and all that. However, it sounds really nice and luxurious.

I have a question also. Of course, I have never owned a vehicle with a navi. I do want the navi with my Edge, which I plan to buy in the future... I also want Serius radio! So, how does the satelite radio work with Navi? All-in-one kinda thing? Thanks to anyone who could answer!

Hey everyone...been awhile since I have been on here asking questions, just been reading... I am still planning on buying an edge in a few months, but have another question to those of you that have bought one, or driven one... Okay..how high up do you sit? What I men is, I know it is shorter than regular SUV's, and I cannot stand "sitting" on the ground when I drive. When I am sitting up higher it seems I can see so much better! So, how high up do you sit? Does it seem high enough? Perfect hight? IS your view good? Just curious to know. Thanks!!! :hyper:

*hahaha* Guess we need to creat a bum warmer for ya! :yup: So...I finally got two here at the local dealer...They called me yesterday to let me know they came in! They got a fully loaded SEL Plus Creme Brulee with BAMR, and a SE Sage... Both very very beautiful....BUT BOY...That creme brulee is really eye catching! Looks very rich and sophisticated! The rims were Blingin!! The Edge truly is a beautiful vehicle....with SO much to offer! I wish I could get mine NOW!!! BUT....gotta wait a little while...Hopefully not too long though...

For those of you that have gotten your edge... what is your average MPG? What are you averaging city and hwy? Another guy posted a similar question on another thread, and I was hoping to see what everyone is averaging... Thanks

I hear you...I still do not have any right in my area, but there is one about 30 minutes away...and that is the only one that I am aware of anywhere near by.... It will just be a slow process....

Ok...I have no idea how to average KM's and liters. Do you know what kind of gas mileage you got in MPG? Like, how many miles per gallon were you averaging?

I hope it is nothing major...i know you are disappointed!!
