Ya I do have the intelligent access with push button start. I am asking if you car let you know if your engine is still running when you leave your vehicle. My MKX let you lock the door the way you normally lock the door by tapping the sensor on the door handle even if you have not shut the engine off. And it doesn't honk when you walk away from the vehicle when the engine is on. Though "Key Not Found" message would show up on the dash.

I don't know if it's because mine is 2012, but doesn't warn me at all and I don't need to use the number buttons to lock it. Can I ask you what kind of mileage you get with your MKX? See that we both live in ONtario, the number should be similar. I can't get any lower than 14L/100km.. I was cautiously driving today. Sunday afternoon driving in Vaughan 12C outside.

Which car honks twice? Why do you constantly leave the engine on and lock the doors?

Mine doesn't beep. It just locks by touching the door handle while engine is still on.

People with the Smart access. Can you lock your car with engine on? Arrive at destination, I get out without shutting the car off. Tap the door, and it locks. I know other manufacturers won't let that happen or horn beeps to let you know that the car is still on? Is this normal?

I don't remember it being this grainy before. How's your camera? Buddy's F150's camera is pretty clear at night... same drive way.

I've changed both sides without taking the headlight or wheelwell spash shield off, and yes, it's extremely tight. The trick is you have to hold the wires to rotate the bulb. Anyway, did it look like it was burnt? You know, my car is 1.5 years old with 14,000miles/23,000km and both sides burnt out, that's kinda strange. My other car's signal bulb lasted 5-6 years at least. I took it to the dealership and they said it's suppose to look like this.

Really? We have lots up here. Well, not as many as Civics but see them multiple times a day.

It's doing it again. I guess the passenger side needs to be replaced too. Sounds more like clunk that squeak this time though.

IT's 2012. What temperature do you leave it at? What kind of gas mileage are you getting? With 20", I'm averaging 14L/100km , mixed driving.

I don't know if there's something wrong with it or it's poorly designed. In Auto setting, the heat only comes from the floor, and yes that is normal. Problem is it doesn't warm up even if I drive for 30 minutes. My knee,thigh ,and calf were freezing when I got home. You feel the cold air everywhere else but the feet. Then when the cabin temperature finally reaches the set temperature (not last night), it starts to blow cold air on your face. Really... why doesn't it just hold the warm air instead. Jeeez or and rear passenger area feel always cold. I don't know why rear vents don't come on with front low vents. Last night was -8c (16F) outside and my set temperture is 22.5c (72F)

Edge Sport vs Edge Looks very clean with painted bumpers and side skirts!

What do you think? Done in Photoshop. It always bothered me that Licoln left the bottom trims unpainted. Like the Edge Sport, they should have finish them for more luxurious look.

One thing bothers me the most is the missing song title on left bottom corner.

This is the main reason why. Why take away the good thing? I like to have the screen at Home, but since I can no longer see the song titles, I have to switch to the Entertainment screen. Then when I want to control my butt warmer/cooler, I have to go back to the Home or Climate screen. Why Why didn't you just put the manual switch for the heated/cooled seats Lincoln? WHYYYYYY? However I do like the simpler Climate control screen. It seems a little bit faster as well.

I finally brought it down to the dealership. They replaced Driver side Front strut and strut mount. It's all good now.

Ah, I tried with Windshield defrost. So it's activated with rear defrost. I just checked the features on website and it does list "Heated door mirrors" Thank you.

I had no idea 2012 Lincoln MKX did not come with heated mirrors. I didn't see the button for it, but figured it is automatic... but I just drove in snow the other day and snow on mirrors never melted for the whole drive. Jesus, my 98 Civic even has heated mirrors. So, this car comes with heated seats, air conditioned seats, blind-spot sensor in the mirror, but not heated.

I can clearly hear it while driving windows closed. Sounds like a bad mattress.

Just after 2-3 days of the ownership, I noticed squeaking noise when I go over bumps or in tight cornering. Maybe bad bushings. Anyone else noticed that?

I really wish there are separate physical buttons for the heated seats. You can't even use the voice commend for this.

We got our MKX from that dealership too. Free semi-synthetic oil for life and tire rotation. And Lincoln Canada gives two free scheduled maintenance. (2 years).
