No problem asking the questions....it's a fair one. I did not downgrade back to incandescent bulbs. I have the extra amber turn signals because I changed over to some LED switchbacks. I have the extra reverse lights because I bought some CRaZY bright ones that are a couple of watts higher power (over the top). Lastly, I have the extra brake lights because I purchased a pair of flashing LED red lights for one pair of the brake lights. And that, my friend, is why I have all the extras. My loss will be a gain for someone else. These are all very good and very bright lights for someone who might want to switch over to LEDs.

Sorry, I misunderstood an earlier post thinking it was you.

Congrats on getting them sold. That sounds like a pretty fair price for both parties. Now if someone would just buy my lights I'd be fixed up!!

I already have a custom box in the right side with a shallow mount pioneer "10 running off a Rockford Fosgate 400.1. It hits pretty hard and slams everything at the 40-50hz range but I'm a bass junkie. I would like to add another sub without losing much, if any cargo space. I should have said that in my first post.

Has anyone opened up the left rear panel above the left rear fender well to investigate the amount of space available in that area? I assume the gas tank filler hose goes thru there somewhere but is there enuf room to tear it apart for a 10-12" sub?

Mr dave, I use and do like Meguiars NXT. I usually out that on and then once buffed in good I will use the Meguiars Ultimate paste wax on top because it will buff out like glass because it has good carnauba in it. I like to hear what other people are doing though. Thanks for the reply. I'll look at the Klasse products.

I should have also asked where you source your waxes. What do you like, where do you get it and do you use a DA buffer to apply/buff?
-
Come on...nobody else wants to share?

What's your favorite wax these days for waxing your Edge?

You'd be surprised. The existing sub box can easily be modified to hold any shallow mount 10" sub. There is tons of room back behind the panel and Ford didn't use nearly all of it for airspace on the existing 8" subwoofer. If you do it that way you are not forced to pay that crazy price for a subwoofer and box from JL unless that is just what you are set on and then you should of course do what you want. IT's just another option. Good luck with all your audio upgrades in the future!

We looked for the diagram for quite some time when I worked with a shop for my audio makeover and never found anything. What I do know is that you do not want to get rid of that sony amplifier. You should tap into the speaker wiring after it exits the Sony amp and use a speaker level to line level converter. I am not sure if the JBL processor is capable of that or if it will go between the head unit and your amps. Anyhow, point is that I could never find a wiring diagram. The just had to use a line tester to figure out what the wires were doing.

I hate that Ford took off the option to change the home screen like we could before the upgrade. Don't get me wrong, the upgrade is a huge improvement but I miss being able to modify the home screen as we could before.

Nice choices. I'm betting that if you add a new amplifier those BAs will sound fantastic.

I have the proper clearance. Actually, my clearance is about three levels above top secret. Therefore, you can tell me. I'll take the info to my grave.

Got your PM...I'm all in at $1500. I've spent over $3000 on my Edge in the last 6 weeks. I'm tapped out and if I spend much more I'll be needing to move in with one of you guys cuz my wife will kick me out of our house!!
-
Why in the world do you need a chrome grill? Please tell me that is a joke!
-
I'll stick with $1500. If you decide to come down then contact me. I'll cover the shipping. Will the wheels be sent from Lubbock?
-
Oh and I forgot to ask. Why are you selling them? You didn't curb rash any of them did you?
-
How about $1500?

I changed my mind on some bulbs so I have spares to sell. I have one pair of 3157 amber turn signal bulbs here in my picture A pair of these bulbs are sold for $49.98 and are SUPER bright. They are eye catching to say the least and look spectacular behind the clear lenses in the front. For the pair, I'll take the first $25 plus shipping that is offered. The second set is a pair of 3157 44 chip white LED lights for a set of your brake lights and can be seen in my picture These lights sell for $16.99 each but I will take the first $18 plus shipping for the pair. They are much much brighter than the incandescent red brake bulbs. I would venture to guess that they are 3 times brighter and with all the LEDs facing in so many directions they reflect off the light housing reflectors very well. I still have a pair of these as one set of my brake lights but I changed the upper pair to the same lights but with a flashing technology that does a three quick flash mode when I hit the brakes. Otherwise they are the same. All my lights in and out are LEDs and I can vouch for the quality of all three sets of lights above. I also have a set of 921 reverse lights that are 5 watt cree bulbs and are light flashlights running out of the back. Below is a pic of what they look like on at night. Here is a link to the store where I bought the lights so nobody thinks I'm just making up the prices I paid for the bulbs. http://superluminati...m/3157_3156.htm and http://superlumination.com/906.htm for the reverse lights I can be reached here on the forum thru a message or at cdpratt69@gmail.com
