2009 Sport, I have had it for about a year and I satisfied.

It has been almost a year with my 2009 Sport and I have had no problems. The gas mileage is not the best but I can live with it. My only real dissapointment is with the audio system. The radio is great but the speakers are terrible so I changed them all out including the subwoofer and went with all Kicker speakers. I also installed some tweeters in the A-pillars, sounds sweet now. It is a good looking vehicle and turns heads. The stock 22" wheels together with the Pirelli tires provide a smooth ride and it handles well. Overall I love the Sport edition and would suggest it to anyone who is looking to buy an Edge.

I found them and the deed is done. Looks cleaner but no noticable difference in performance or sound, although I haven't been on the highway yet.

Edge 184, where did you get those rubber caps and what size are they? I want to dupe that mod if you don't mind!

Damn! I figured it out. There is an 8 pin plug on the back of the radio. This plug is for the harness wires to the subwoofer amp. It was never plugged in or the previous owner unplugged it. Just in case someone has the same problem, No sound from the subwoofer, check and make sure the smallest plug on the back of your head unit is plugged in. Again, it is a 8 pin. plug.

I have a 2009 Sport. When I do a speaker test all the speakers work accept the subwoofer.It shows Aux 1 2V Subwoofer but no sound. Do I have a bad amp and sub?or is something not connected. I do not no what to do ? Any suggestions would be apprecieated.

I have a used 2009 Edge Sport, I also have no card. I looked by the fuse box under the steering wheel and found the code on a white label on the right bottom of the fuse box..

Check ebay. They sell the kind that attaches using 3m tape. It is stainless steel and is a good product. I used it on my 2006 Explorer and it looked awesome. Several different places sell them cost from $88.00-$99.00 average.

I am planning on removing the chrome grille for a Billet Grille on my 2009 Sport. Has anyone done this mod and can you explain how to take out the Grille. Any help would be appreciated.

I just put some on yesterday. They are AVS, and work well. They were very easy to install and I dought they will fall out, it gets pretty cold here in Jersey too. The fit is very good and they look nice and are functional. I would suggest these over the stick-ons .

I was wondering if anyone has replaced there Grille with a Billet Grille. I would like a blow by blow of how this is done. Also, lets see a before and after pics if you have them. I have a 2009 Sport,, love it but I am really leaning towards replacing the Grille with the 3 section billet Grilles. Show me yours.

Congrads! I just got my 2009 Sport on 07/30/11. I love this vehicle. Rides smooth, has enough power to me and it looks good. So far I can't complain.

I feel you on that. I would not buy that particular vehicle but don't let that one vehicle turn you off to the Edge. I just recently went from a 2006 Ford Explorer to a 2009 Edge Sport. Words cannot explain how happy I am with the Edge. Take the leap of faith, I think you will find it worth it.

Hey, Don't sweat it. I went to a Ford Dealer and came home with a 2009 Sport. I got to ride in and look at all the 2011's. Yes, they are nicer than earlier models with all the upgrades but I think you will really be pleased with your purchase. It is always a bad idea to buy a vehicle when it first comes out. Like someone said earlier, wait a couple of years till all the kinks get worked out, maybe 2013. Anyway, let us no how you like it once it arrives.

I finally think I no how to post pics. So here is another : 2009 Sport AWD fully loaded.

I looked at every crossover sold and test drove most of them. I fell in Love with the Edge when I saw the Sport model and drove it. I had an 06 Explorer that I was ready to get rid of and the Edge just fit. It looks good drives well, is ok on gas mileage, has all the goodies and lets not forget those 22's. SOLD!

It got worked out and the Sport is in the driveway. Pics soon to come.
