I am using 18" wheels and pirelli snow tires during Bavarian winter. Excellent handling on slippery roads. I noticed bad handling of the 22" wheels on wet cornering during a driver training.

jittery ride? Didn't notice this! I love my 2011 Sport. If I had the money, I would buy a other one to commute. :-) -
I did a driver training with the 22" Scorpions. The handling on wet roads is horrible. I learned a lot about my Edge during the training. I prefer 18" winter tires on snow.

Here's the feedback from the U.S. customer centre for my VIN: PN3KP Excellent service!

Does anyone know the White Platinum Metallic color code (2011 models)? I have to repaint the front bumper of my 2011 Sport model.

Hi folks, I am looking for a used 18" OEM for the 2010 Ford Edge. I need one with the part number(s) 8T431007EA and/or 8T431007FA (18x7.5J ET44). It can be scratched or slightly damaged. background information: Last year I ordered 18" wheels for my 2011 Ford Edge Sport AWD in the U.S. (I am living in Germany). Well, the U.S. Ford customer centre told me, that I got 18" wheels with the part number(s) above which are designed for the 2010 Ford Edge. They don't recommend to use them with the 2011 Ford Edge Sport. :-( In Germany you need to get a official approval to use those wheels on public roads. The German TUEV wants to check the max. load of the rims. I didn't get any information about this from Ford US. I need one additional 18" rim to hand it over to the German TUEV. They will do some tests to measure the max. load of the rim. Of course it will be destroyed. Manny thx for any offer Rene

For the Germans: http://www.auto-news.de/auto/news/anzeige_Interview-mit-Ford-Deutschland-Chef-Bernhard-Mattes-auf-der-Auto-Show-in-Detroit_id_31469 For all other: He said that MFT will be introduced with the new Ford Mondeo (Fusion) end of 2012. :cold: Maybe they canceled it Mid of 2012 due to the big trouble they had in the US.

I like your installation manuals. Any problems with German TUEV? Do you have the approval to use it?

my average (highway/city mix) is 19.6mpg (22" wheels) or 21.3mpg (18" wheels during winter)

The GPS didn't get a satellite signal because I took the picture right after leaving the garage. The original Ford SD card, which comes with the MFT upgrade, was inserted. You can zoom in and out, set favorites etc. Unfortunately no maps for Europe are available. NAVTAQ Germany doesn't provide any maps for the MFT system. They told me that they only offer a map database. Ford has to provide the SD card which works with the MFT. Today I tested the European SD card for the 2012 Focus SONY Nav. Well, it doesn't work with the MFT. :-(

Well, I got my upgrade package ... I inserted the SD card ... and it worked. See my gallery: http://www.fordedgeforum.com/index.php?/gallery/image/2236-mft-nav-works-in-europe/

I own a Sport AWD since Nov 2011. I can't confirm your problems. 1. Maps - the navigation works in Europe (it locates you at the right position) but I do not have maps for Germany 2. Moon roof - works perfect 3. Accelerating - I love the sound of the V6 Best regards.

So I made the right decision to get a 2011 Ford Edge Sport with that nice 3.7 V6. Only a crash can divorce us .....
