OK, now I am pissed. I tried this: and this ... (the led on my trigger tool is red instead of green!?) I am still unable to train my sensors.

What's the "blue painters tape trick"? btw. I hope you'll enjoy your trip to Bavaria. -
ok, I don't think that my trigger tool works. Not even one wheel respond. I found a video on youtube where someone trained the wheels of a F150 releasing air pressure. I will try this on friday. I am wondering why I bought the 2011 workshop manual and a trigger tool ..... *grrrrr*

Thank you for that hint. I will try this and let you know if it works or not.

Hello, no sensor respons. After changing from winter wheels back to my original 22" oem wheels the LF sensor didn't respond. we drove three weeks and hounders of miles. Last week we had to change oil and also switch the LF with the RF wheel. I thought, if the LF sensor would respond after this switch, the RF sensor would be the one to check .... Now it could be that.... ...the sensors on both wheels does not work ...the tpms controller does not work ...the battery of the trigger tools is to weak (because a red light is coming up, when I push the button. in the youtube video I saw the led was green) I will give the trigger tool a second change before checking the sensors again. Hello, I need some help with the TPMS sensor training. I couple of weeks ago I put the original 22" wheels on the Edge and got the TPMS failure message. OK, I ordered the TPMS sensor tool (#8C2T-1A203-AB) and looked into my 2011 EDGE workshop manual. issue 1: The procedure in section 204-04-28 doesn't work for me. I can't enter the training mode. Google is always your friend and I found a other way to enter the training mode. I have to activate and deactivate the hazard lights three times to enter the training mode. But I was not able to train the first sensor. Maybe the sensor is not working. issue 2: I switched the front wheels to check if the TPMS sensor is defect. I entered the training mode using the hazard lights again, but I couldn't activate the fLF sensor. :-( I double checked the the workshop manual, but I was not able to find any other way. What should I do to activate my sensors again? Best regards, Rene

today I learned that I have to replace my front rotors. I expected that I would have to replace the pads first. Are the OEM rotors that bad?

i would never trade my Sport for any other car. I am in love with the sound the 3.7l does while driving. grrrrr .... that's worth some bucks more at the gas station

Cool! That helps. levittownfordsupercenter.com offers this for just 178 USD.

I double checked the workshop manual. could it be a rocker panel moulding? I am not sure what to add to my cart at fordparts.com ...

Hello, my wife is on a road trip and hit something. She sent me a pic but I don't know what part it could be. Does anyone know it?

We mount a iPad to one of the headrests. There are a lot of products out there to support that. I like this option because you don't have to handle all that dvds. Its just uploading a couple of files to the iPad.

For me and my wife it is ok, because our total income is ok. It is the same in the U.S. If you earn good money, you'll have a good life. But since 3 years we try to get a diversity visa (DV/"green card") to live and work in the U.S. Maybe this year ... and we would bring the Sport with us. :-)

*grrrr* that s**ks! is there no workaround to avoid those taxes? I had to pay customs and taxes as well for the Sport, but it was around 15k EUR in total. Best regards, Rene

we do approx. 30k km per year in our Sport and we have exactly the same feeling, but we will stay with the Edge for a long time.

yep, downsizing is the new hype. the new premium cars get tiny turbo engines with a lot of horse power. unfortunately they don't downsize the price. we bought a new 2011 Sport in the U.S. and saved a lot of money compared to a used German premium car. In the brochures the premiums have better MPG, but in reality the difference to the my Sport is not that big. Isn't the lifetime of the turbo limited?

I don't know anything about a phase out of the 3.7, but I don't like the current trend to go for tiny engines with turbos
