We are new owners as of last weekend and so far, so good. I have noticed while on cruise control the transmission down-shifts on overpasses. It happens near the end of the grade and on top, it immediately shifts back. The cruise was set for 70 mph and when I disengaged cruise and held it at the same speed, the shifting didn't occur. I just wondered if anyone else is experiencing this and if it is normal? I don't really consider it a problem but it probably causes a little extra wear and tear and since the RPMs increase, a small loss in fuel economy. Any ideas?
