The plastic cover over the bumper was loose. I was able to tighten the two 5/16" hex head screws. They had backed off a couple of turns each. They are located on the top corners of the bumper cover. Well, I thought this solved the problem but it didn't...I now suspect it could be the interior door skin on the rear hatch. Any ideas how to remove this panel?

I have a 2007 Ford Edge. When it gets extremely hot outside (75f and above) I get a loud noise from the rear hatch area. I have checked the spare tire area and everything seems tight. Sounds more like loose panel trim. Has anyone experienced this problem?
