What a great thread!!! I didn't realize how poorly I was treating by baby (and it has only been 2 washes in...). I have had my 2011 Black Sport for a couple weeks now and have not been impressed with my efforts. I was used to a silver car that showed little imperfections but man does this black show everything. My first wash was with a microfiber wash towel, 1 bucket, and a terry cloth towel. My 2nd was with the 2 bucket system, a microfiber mit, and a shammy towel. Big fan of the 2 bucket system after seeing the dirt left in the rinse bucket, but I gotta find a new drying towel and think I am going to order the recommended waffle weave from DI. Is one enough to dry the whole suv or do I need two? Also what is the best exterior window cleaner? It seemed like as I was drying them that there was a film on them that wouldn't come off. I plan on doing a real detailing this fall in preparation for the harsh winter months of Cleveland, OH. After reading this thread I am pretty excited about it.

Has anyone figured this out yet? I can't believe it would be this hard since all the software is there and just needs to be enabled and the SD card added. This is the only option that I really wanted on my 2011 Sport but couldn't pass up the deal that I was given so I had to pull the trigger without it.

Thanks! I'm loving it so far. I have found a few MFT issues but from what I have read that is to be expected. Gotta go back to the dealer and get 2.11 soon and hopefully the major update I keep hearing about will come down the line.

After much deliberation I pulled the trigger on a 2011 Ford Edge Sport. I test drove it and knew it had to be mine. I gotta say my favorite part has to be the 22's. There was nothing else on the market like it and I love the way people keep staring at it as I drive around.

Kind of disappointed. I just bought my Ford Edge last weekend and specifically asked them to make sure the Sync version was the latest and greatest only to find out when they finally put my info on syncmyride that it was Gen 2 V2.4. I am wondering whether it would be worth it to just wait til the next version to come out or go back and get V2.8?

The whole Ford Financing Rebate is a joke. I just purchased a new FWD Sport and was told to get the $1000 rebate I would need to use the promotion APR of 6.9% then after 1 month I could refinance with my credit union for a new rate (which was 4.0%). So I figured it was worth it to get $1000 off for a little more for the first month payment. So I had everything drawn up and I made my way back the Finance Dept. When I got there he completely ignored the promotional requirement and told me he could offer 3.99% for 60 months and I wouldn't need to refinance and pay any applicable fees so I went with it. Worked out for me...

For those that have used the X-Plan. Have you been able to negotiate more off the vehicle than the standard Ford Rebates? It seems like dealers I have been dealing with aren't budging from that price. It might be the case that I would have to work the trade-in price to get what I want.

I just found this awesome site and figure I would see if what the dealer is offering was a good deal or not. I have the X-Plan but it seems like that is all they are offering me besides the standard Ford Rebates.
