  1. I guess it's all relative? I hop out of my 04 F250 FX4 and into my wife's 2011 Edge SEL, and it might as well be an exotic European super-car. About the only thing I agree with you on is the digital speedometer. Seems like that would have been pretty easy to integrate given all the LCD panels in the cluster. I hope you enjoy it, despite your issues with it.
  2. Sounds like you did really well all things considered. X-Plan takes 80% of the hassle out of it, if you're not dealing with a trade or anything like that. All that really matters is that you're happy with the Edge, and can afford the payments
  3. It is for ExtraCare, but not for the Premium care, which I got. They have it listed for $1500, so they beat my dealer by $300. Oh well
  4. Thats the thing, did shop around. The cheapest I could find online was around $1800 for the 84/125k ESP. I had intended to buy it after the fact, but the dealer beat the best online price by $100. Seemed like a no brainer to me.
  5. pearlybaker, It's funny you ask that; I went through that EXACT same scenario a few days ago. I qualify for X-Plan and was able to take advantage of all the available incentives I qualified for ($1,000 off). In addition I tried to Finance through Bank of America, but when I went to the dealership, they were able to source better financing for me (BoA was going to give me 2.88 for 60, but the finance manager at ford got me 2.9 or 1.9 for 60 if I purchased the Premium ESP 84/125k for an additional $1700) Short answer: Yes, you can get those rebates; BoA doesnt' give great financing, even if your Experian is in the 800s
