Excellent, Again, as an aside, before I post in the main forums...anyone have any idea on how to increase the light output of the tails? Brighter bulbs, I would assume, but does anyone know anything about this?

No, I get and make calls...how can that be a Bluetooth issue,,,its a question of my text's etc...making it in...feels like a software question.

Thinking of adding Cargo liners, and floor mats. Any thoughts on which of these is more elegant, but also sturdy for NYC snow, slush and rain? lloyds, catch-all or weathertech? Thanks.

Hi, Well sooner is best for me, as I havelimited bandwidth to play with this vehicle before it gets cold outside (NY, street parking here) and my wife runs out of patience,.......after all, I'm no mechanic and making these changes in the snow is ...well. Not good. Anyway, need suggestion - i do want the 500 foot visibility, but also the medium tint. ...Solution.... How about brighter lights? I do not want to install a new system...are there bright back light I can switch out for what is in there right now to give me the much longer visibility? Thoughts? Thanks. G

Marcello: Something I don't get - My phone, a Windows Mobile 6 phone, does voice, but not text messaging, email, etc. through SYNC. Also, it did not pick up my Media files. Am I missing something? I would think MS to MS systems... . Thanks G

Any reason not to go with Dealer installed Lo-Jack? I do want this type of system, but not sure which one and if I should just let the Dealer do it. Advice?

Scoopo: I am in , if we get six. But I need to know that these are legal in NY/NYC. That means 500 feet viewing capability. Its also a safety thing, as I have a little one in the car. Can he give us an answer? G

Hey Scoopo: Who does those black grills? Do they look professional? And are they expensive? I am thinking of limo tint in the back, black Ford Logo (or all chrome, perhaps), up to legal tint in the front sides, these black backuplights (if legal), and a black grille, if it makes sense ($$$). However, I think that the 18 inch chrome wheels that come with the Limited may have to stick around ($$$ reasons)....but that should look pretty cool. Also, my interior is all black so should be a cool look. Any thoughts? G

PS: Scoopo... I am also working on a Blackout effect. Where are you with this? Advice?

Ok - I am in the same boat here, I have a black new Edge, and could totally go for blacked out tail lights...some questions: 1. What are we talking about here, in terms of total $$? 2. Safety - These show the brake lights and everything else as need be, right? No drop in safety or visibility, day or night? Important, as I have a child. 3. Also, these lights, by NY law, have to visible from 500 feet away...are they? 3. Who installs these, exactly? Let me know - I might spring as well.

Hi folks, Well, my Edge LImited is being picked up on Monday, and from the get go I know I want to Luxury it up a little bit on the inside. For me, that probably means real wood additions...I can't think of what else to add. So, from that perspective what are the highest quality luxury (look and feel) modifications for the Ford Edge? Is there one manufacturer that makes a fantastic trim for the interior? And as an aside, can you guys think of anythind else to do on the inside to make this thing look and feel a lot more luxurious? Many thanks! G
