Try to change the usb port ... after a while the metal things in the port may be too bent away to come in contact with the thumbdrive thing - do to prolonged usage - may need change or just take it out and squeeze it back again by hand or any tool ???? just a stupid idea that came to mind <<<< iam noooo expert !!
