Hey guys, I don't know if I'm in the right area but when I just start up my car and let it roll downhill there is this high pitch squeaking sound. When I brake it seems to stop and the sound dampens when I step on the gas. The sound then stops after driving for 5 mins. It started recently when the weather started to change suddenly from humid to cold but I'm not sure if its the weather. Does anyone know what this could be caused by? Thanks in Advance!

Oh my!! Why would the dealers just paint on pinstripes on someones car?!?!?!?!

I got my car with the stock alarm on i but then I went to Futureshop to get a remote starter without an alarm installed on it. The staff there were testing the alarm after they installed it and had discovered that the stock alarm was disabled. THEN I look into the manual only to read that installing aftermarket remote starter may result in the alarm to be disabled so I was left with no choice but to upgrade my remote starter to one that included an alarm. I'm not sure if it's with all becasue the book just said MAY but that's what happened with me.

This might be too late now, sorry! But when I installed my remote starter with futureshop it totally took off the Ford's alarm system so I ended up upgrading to one with an alarm also! So just watch for that, better safe then sorry right?

I stick mine in the cup holder until it overflows or ntil it starts to bug me. I tried the bag at the back of the headrest thing but having the bag blow around when the windows are open were annoying. LOL.

Will these work wil the 11 too?

Wooow that's goood! I ended up getting my windshield done at Speedy's and my insurance ended up paying for me like the above poster said!

Oh hmm, I guess the factory remote does make a difference because mine's aftermarket.

It's gonna look great and yes I hear the weathertechs are so much better, the dealer installed mine for me so I had no choice And for milage, believe it or not my car has a faster accleration and has used less gas after switching to the new rims since my stock ones were i guess heavy? lol But that was because my stock were not as awesome as the Sports lol. Glad you made the decision

I sometimes get off work at 11 at night and in the winter I usually warm up my car. When I press the remote start the headlights automatically go on and since they are HID's I usually end up blinding a coworker parked across from me.... :S Also, whenever it's during the day the headlights and the mini side ones go on, I've seen the new explorers only have the mini orance one go on during the day and not the full headlight, so is it possible to have this for the Edge?

Oh true about the chrome ring. I chose something like that so that when it spins you'll see something shiny lol but I guess the star kinda does that. I guess key think is to keep in mind that your wheels won't be as flashy and shiny when you drive compared to the Sport ones, For the side steps Ford installed them for me as a part of my deal but you definitely won't regret getting them, they come in handy lol.

Wow thanks for all the good replys! What sucks is that the insurance company will make me pay the deductible. So then I called Speedy again and talked to them and they lowered my price to be around 80 taxes in which is good. Craw, call around and get quotes then call Speedy and tell them about your lowest quote and they should match it.

I used the Helligkeit brand and I went with the 8000K. It's still bright but with a tint of blue.

Haha, whoa Ok so the brand is U-Bar, they were installed by the dealers as they were included with the deal. As of clearance I'm not exactly tooo sure the measurements but I can assure you it's not alot to make a big difference. I would say 2 inches at the MOST. Keep in mind they are attached to the bottom but they then are bend upwards once outside of the car so they don't stick too much from the bottom causing you to losee to much group clearance. Sorry if I'm confusing you! I attached a pic for you to see what I mean And they are super sturdy when you stand on the thing. I usually stand on them while I am washing my car as I am 5'2 and is constantly jumping off and on.

I was driving the other day and a little rock put a crack into my windshield. Its a small dent with little "crack lines" (lol) coming out of it! I'm in Canada and Speedy Auto Glass wanted $110 to repair it, but it's super small like the whole thing is smaller then a dollar coin. Does anyone know another place?

Not too sure about the other things, but I just got my rims changed with no TPMS and so far I've gotten no warning message. Not sure if mine were not programmed but the worst thing that could happen is a little message on the left side screen and all you do is press "OK". Soooo you wouldn't need to spend so much money on the TPMS that would prb cost another $500 and you might not need it, like I check my wheels every time before I get into my car. But it's up to you. Which part of Canada? I'm in toronto and just had a flying rock or something hit my windshield. There's now a crack. I called Speedy and they want $110 tax included but I think that's way to much!
