In October, 2010 I purchased a new 2011 Sport Edge. Shortly after receiving it I experenced a loud bang in the rear transmission. My wife came home from shopping one day, white as a sheet complaining about the same problem. After returning it to our dealer they indicated they were not familar with any problem concerning transmission banging. After asking other owners about the probloem, all of them said they had incountered the same problem and it goes back serverial year with Ford Models. Can anyone out there please advise if they have had the same problem and has Ford addressed the issue.
