  1. No. The details are on pages 187-189 of the owner’s manual.
  2. Power Takeoff Unit - sends power to the rear wheels.
  3. I still think it’s the factory tow system wiring. You add a pigtail that gives you a 4 or 7 pin connector like this one: https://www.etrailer.com/static/images/pics/4/0/40455_1000.jpg
  4. Burrcold was describing how to use Hey Siri with an iPhone and use sync 3 voice commands interchangeably. You hit the voice button quickly for sync 3 and you hold it for 3 seconds and it sends the voice commands to Siri instead. But that’s not the same as Android Auto/Apple CarPlay.
  5. Someone reported that it was no problem loosening lug nuts at 162 lb/ft with the factory lug wrench. I think it's longer than the standard one to compensate.
  6. I think that's a connector for the pigtail that actually has the 4 pin or 7 pin connector. It comes with the factory towing package.
  7. Gotcha - I thought you were saying you did it that way all the time. MFT at first allowed you to send a location from mapquest but it turned out to be too problematic. It would be nice to send not only a destination but a route from google maps to sync 3.
  8. You can set multiple waypoints in one route. At least 8 or 10. After you set the first destination and hit start, enter a new destination (with voice command I just hit the button and say destination street address). Once it finds that address or POI it asks you to set it as destination or waypoint. If you choose waypoint you can then see all the other waypoints and change the order or let it optimize them. It will take you to each destination one by one in order and you don’t have to recall each address.
  9. Read more carefully. They also painted the wheels for that price, not just the calipers.
  10. New ones are 14x1.5 as opposed to Fusion which is still 12x1.5 and those still require only 100 lb/ft.
  11. Apparently the Expedition now recommends 150 lb/ft. No definitive answer but best guess is larger wheels and tires on the Utilities. Fusion is still only 100 lb/ft.
  12. True starting with the 2012 Focus. The gen 1 Edge was CD3 (mazda) based.
  13. Interesting. I'm pretty sure our 2012 Focus had this as well as my 2013 Fusion. I just assumed all Ford vehicles had it.
  14. They should be able to open the rear doors by pulling on the handle twice even if they're locked - unless you've activated the child locks.
  15. You don't have to manually unlock - you just have to open the driver's door. I suspect in the past you were probably opening the door and turning off the ignition at the same time without realizing it. Or you just misremembered. If not then maybe the owner's manual is wrong but I know that's how it worked in the past on other vehicles.
  16. Let me see if my Ford engineer contact can shed some light on it.
  17. Must have changed with the 2nd gen models then (2015+).
  18. From your owner's manual: The autounlock feature will unlock all the doors when: • the ignition is on, all the doors are closed, and your vehicle has been in motion at a speed greater than 12 mph (20 km/h); • your vehicle has then come to a stop and the ignition is switched off or to accessory; and • the driver door is opened within 10 minutes of the ignition being switched off or to accessory. It has worked that way on all Ford vehicles for at least the last decade, maybe longer.
  19. auto-unlock only happens when you open the driver's door.
  20. Purge valve or evap cannister. Lots of threads on both - use the search function.
