  1. Only way to go for better performance. Do a forum search there have been lots of topics on tuners and tunes.
  2. I would recommend buying from a local dealer not a big box if possible although I never had a warranty issue.
  3. Bought a John Deere 42” about 12 years ago. The basic one at Home Depot. No problems other than some rust on the cutting deck which was easy to fix. They have a great mulch kit. I’ve heard the others are good, too so I think it comes down to personal preference and price.
  4. I meant it’s available in the ST. I didn’t realize he was asking for the 2.7T in the Titanium Elite.
  5. You’re missing the point. You don’t get the same taillights as the Titanium models - that’s why they don’t light up. They’re not designed to light up.
  6. FYI you can post pics from an iPad. Just click on More Reply Options.
  7. Do a search to TSS OSS sensors.
  8. Only the 2.7L has the composite pan AFAIK.
  9. Spammer. Can’t delete it until Robert fixes my moderator permissions. Sorry.
  10. I discussed this with Robert the site owner. He agrees that we don't need model year specific forums, so this is what we'll do for now: Ford Edge and Lincoln MKX Model Year Specific Gen I 2007-2010 2011-2014 (We could go ahead and combine these but there are some differences in the Gen 1.5s and if we combine them now it will be impossible to break them back apart later. We can always go back and combine these into a single Gen 1 forum at a later date) Gen II 2015+
  11. I’m not responsible for the layout, but I will say that there are a lot of things that are not model year or even generation specific (sync e.g.). Most people seem to use the view new content feature which means you never actually navigate the various sub forums (that’s what I do). So most probably don’t notice it. There is no one right answer and no matter how it gets changed somebody won’t be happy. But I agree all the gen 1 (2007-2014) and gen II (2015+) should probably be combined. I’ll ask Robert to take another look at it.
  12. Seems like OEM was 550 or thereabouts. You can get higher replacements.
  13. The Focus tranny is a dry clutch but it’s a DCT - dual clutch transmission. It’s like 2 manual 3 speed gearboxes side by side with clutches that engage and disengage each side. One side is 1, 3 and 5 and the other 2, 4 and 6 so when you’re in 4th gear and accelerating 5th gear is already selected on the other side so shifting from 4th to 5th is just moving the engine power to the other shaft via the clutches. No torque converter. The wet clutch versions handle more torque and are used in Europe with no real issues. The dry clutch was a huge mistake and probably only gained them 1/2 mpg. The shocker is they still haven’t replaced it with a 6F. The new 8 speed FWD tranny is a normal torque converter automatic. Completely different.
  14. I'm thinking wind would be pushing the wires in a different direction (horizontal?) than a bump (vertical). Hard to say though. Maybe the sensor is flaky and can't keep up with the speed above 70.
  15. It makes it smoother off the line for the way most people accelerate. You can eliminate it with a tune or a separate module. I'm sure the Edge ST won't have that issue.
  16. Not a wheel bearing. If it's intermittent then I would suspect the wheel speed sensor wiring. Check for loose things or chafed wires.
  17. I don't, but I'm almost positive 3.8 gives you the updated touch response.
  18. That's a software problem. The original MFT software only responded to pressing in the corners. A later update allowed touching anywhere in the quadrant. You just need the latest software.
  19. In that specific case, yes. It's the downshift. But ETC also has a built in lag off idle for driveability.
  20. They don’t make a 21” All Season tire
  21. The factory motorcraft oil is a synthetic blend which works just fine as long as you stick with the factory intervals and you're not doing any "severe" conditions.
  22. Me, either. It's always been a mystery. I'm sure the patents have expired by now considering they've been available for over 20 years. I think Nissan used it on a couple of vehicles about 10 years ago.
