Is the liftgate opening height adjustable on a 2011 Limited

I thought our 2008 was height adjustable but maybe that was the Escape that replaced it. -

Did you try resetting the height to the higher position? -

IOS and android support 2 way communication over Bluetooth (Siri voice control e.g.). Surface Pro probably only supports Bluetooth output to a speaker. -
2015 Ford Edge SEL EcoBoost - Towing?
akirby replied to grantcyoung's topic in Accessories & Modifications
The hidden hitch (which may no longer be available) or the same type of hitch from Curt or Draw-tite where the bars are hidden up under the bumper and all you see is the receiver works fine and does not block the kick sensor. Be aware that your Edge is only rated to tow 2K lbs. -
You can’t go by voltage unless you’re testing the alternator. Get a Solar BA-7 and check the CCAs.

It is now.

European ST-Line is basically just an appearance package. It’s nothing like the Ford Performance Edge ST in North America.

The confusion has to do with models and model numbers. Let’s be clear - HD and Lowes sell the 100 series John Deere mowers. They are all made in the US. They used to be called LA, then D and now they’re called E1xx. You can buy a 100 series mower from a big box store OR a JD dealer and the same model number is the same mower wherever you buy it. A E140 is a E140 - no difference where you buy it. The difference is that not all dealers carry all the same models. JD dealers carry the S and X lines which are way better quality and consequently more expensive compared to the E series. But those are completely different model numbers.
-
John Deere themselves say they’re all made in the U.S. I’ll take their word over a salesman.
-
I can almost guarantee that they're comparing the E series at HD with their S and X series. The E series is on the JD website with all the specs. If the JD dealer sold the E series they would be the same as HD. And they're correct about the S and X being better but that's why they're more expensive. It's not like HD is pulling some kind of bait and switch where their E100 is cheaper than another dealer's E100.
-
But are you comparing the same models? E.g. are you looking at a JD E100 at both places? Those should be exactly the same regardless of where it's sold. Most dealers probably carry the S or X lines which are more expensive and which do have better engines and other components.

Is the clicking coming from near the shifter?

There might be a problem with fuel flow at higher RPM. Clogged fuel filter, flaky fuel pump, etc. But first check the MyKey settings as described above. Try it with a different key. MyKey is something you can setup for teenagers or others where it limits certain things like radio volume and vehicle speed but I don’t remember if it actually governs the speed or just gives a warning. Either way it’s easy to test - try both keys and check the menu system for MyKey settings. If you have a MyKey you won’t be able to change the MyKey settings.
-
That appears to be completely false. All John Deere lawn tractors including the ones sold at Home Depot are made in the US by John Deere. And there is no difference. They are lower quality than the S or X series but they’re no different than the ones you buy at the JD dealer.
-
Could be the brake-shift interlock. Can you tell where the clicking is coming from? See if the taillights are flashing when it's clicking.
-
Never quite understood how that was a "safety" feature unless you were backing up without looking behind you. I rarely had to use it since I set up my landscaping beds for easy cutting.

That’s because they already implanted into your brain before you started wearing the tinfoil hats!

Reformat and try copying them again.

They also use timing belts instead of chains. Different priorities.

bluetooth to microsoft surface pro
akirby replied to Intranetsites's topic in Audio, Backup, Navigation & SYNC
Have skype call your cell phone - it works much better. The surface pro Bluetooth connection is output only to Sync 3 - the microphone isn’t going to work anyway. Phones and media devices work differently and the surface pro doesn’t mimic a phone.
