Oh the system itself knows the individual pressures - Ford just chose not to display it on the older models.

Definitely the 911 GT3. The handling is surgical - it goes wherever you point it. And once you get the engine past 4K on the way to a 9K redline it sounds great. The 458 was also great that wonderful flat plane crank V8 behind your head. The track is fantastic - Atlanta Motorsports Park just north of Atlanta. It’s a racing country club. The event was with Xtreme Xperience. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=b24bX2vlD2s

Finally found some info on AWD disconnect from the PTU mfr. It disengages the drive shaft inside the PTU. http://www.aftermarketnews.com/aam-to-supply-awd-ptus-for-global-ford-crossovers/

Hard to say without doing some basic troubleshooting. Try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes first and see if that resets it. You may need a dealer tool to replace the SJB if that's the problem.

Insurance on my Porsche 911 Turbo, 911 GT3, Ferrari 458 and Audi R8 were pretty cheap - around $50 each I think. Then again that was only for 3 laps on a racetrack with an instructor in the passenger seat.....

Everything you need to know is in the owner's manual as far as parts and fluid specs and part numbers, type of oil, etc. If you don't have one you can get it online at owner.ford.com or motorcraftservice.com. Mact has posted videos on his oil testing and oil recommendations.

If you have a 4x4 I wouldn't bother with AWD regardless of the technology.

First thought would be the rear differential/axle shaft binding. Go to an open parking lot, put it in reverse and turn the wheel sharply. Try it in both directions. When you turn the wheel counter clockwise the right rear wheel will be traveling faster than the left rear. If it only happens in one direction I would suspect the outside wheel shaft and/or differential.

That's still the case.

What have you done to/with your Edge/MKX today?

Had the same problem with my F150 and a Mini Cooper but it wasn’t so gentle - her airbags deployed. Took them 10 days to replace my bumper and repair the tailgate. It does feel good to get your vehicle back after going without for awhile. Could have been worse - could have been the Mini Cooper! -
How to remove driver seat cushion?

Interesting tidbit - that name came from the Ford engineers themselves while they were working on the first application on the first gen Edge. -
I've had both Dell and HP (laptops and desktops) at home for work and personal use. Both have good and bad models and both have good and bad customer support. Seems to be luck of the draw and changes month by month. Stay away from the super cheap stuff and try to find product reviews. Gateway was my favorite pc vendor with their cow boxes but that was before laptops.

Just a note - TSBs aren’t free. They’re just notes for the repair person. Your normal warranty coverage determines whether it’s covered or not unless there was an extended warranty attached to the TSB.

We agree on welfare. My solution would be to create local gov’t jobs for anyone who needs a job. Pick up trash, paint - whatever needs to be done. Improve infrastructure. If there is nothing to do then you take training courses. That way people who need help get help but we don’t let people sit on their ass at home getting a check for nothing. And leave disability for those who are truly disabled and can’t work. As for WalMart my solution is not to tax the corporation but tax the individuals making the money from the corporation without tax shelters and tax breaks. -
The interface should be a simple switch. The problem is in the biometric scanner hardware and software. I wouldn’t trust it without a backup.

It only takes X dollars to run the country because our politicians have been overspending for years. We could get by with a lot less but Congress doesn’t have the balls (other than Rand Paul) to do it. -

I thought 20% was in line with other countries. I don’t think people realize we are competing with other countries for businesses. It’s no different than your local county charging 13% sales tax while the next county over only charges 7%. People will drive to the next county to shop and all your local businesses go out of business. You can no longer force companies to do business here so you have to compete. When Monaco wanted to encourage businesses to locate there they cut the tax rate to 0. Monaco is filled with thriving businesses and employs a lot of people and they make their tax money elsewhere. I work on business cases occasionally in a large corporation - some as large as $1B. It’s not about just giving money to businesses with no growth potential - that is the case in some businesses. It’s about making it easier for new businesses to get started and easier for businesses that are growing to expand. Businesses evaluate every growth opportunity and the tax rate absolutely makes a difference in whether projects get done or not and whether new jobs get created. And that includes taking jobs and business from other countries. -

You forgot the result of creating new jobs - those employees pay taxes. More profit for companies means more taxes paid even if the rate is lower. We are overspending and the only solution is to cut spending. We may have to raise individual taxes to pay down the debt but the first thing you do when your credit card is maxed out is stop overspending. I don’t understand why liberals are so anti-business and anti-jobs and pro-government. The government doesn’t create anything - businesses create jobs and that’s where the taxes come from. Will some companies pocket the extra profits? Sure, but look at it this way. Every dollar in profit either gets reinvested back in the business which creates or keeps taxpayers employed and paying taxes, it goes directly to taxpayers as salary and bonuses or it goes to shareholders as dividends which are eventually taxed. So you’re still taxing the profits at an individual level while allowing companies to grow and create more jobs. By the way I would also make the personal tax rate 35% on anything over $250K - period. No tax shelters no deductions - if you make $10M then you pay about $3.4M in taxes. So if companies want to give that tax break money to their executives then they’ll pay the taxes. -

I don’t understand how tax cuts are subsidizing car sales. -
I usually take the basic config and upgrade to the next higher processor and double the memory. I went with a HP convertible that you can use as a tablet but honestly I use my ipad pro 95% of the time now.

Well said. And let's not forget that the Edge and MKX are made in Canada, not the US. Fusion and Fiesta are made in Mexico not the US. Ecosport is made in India. One could argue that Toyotas and Hondas built, designed and sold in the US at American owned dealerships are much more beneficial to the economy than the ones I just mentioned. It's definitely no longer black and white. -

Corporations and businesses don't pay taxes - we do. Every dollar of tax paid by a business comes from the people who buy products or services from that business and that is us. Add a $10K tax to every car sold and every car's price would go up $10K. A high tax rate makes it much harder for businesses to expand and for new businesses to start. For every expansion or new business there is a business case that says it costs $X and we can make $Y. E.g. let's say it costs Ford $2B to expand a factory and they stand to make an extra $3B in profits over the life of that factory. At a 40% tax rate they only net $1.8B which makes it a losing proposition and they wouldn't do it. But at 20% they net $2.4B and it's a positive business case. That's why reducing the corporate tax rate is important and will result in more jobs over time. It's true that short term you won't see immediate jobs created but longer term you will. Not to mention attracting companies to the US that would have gone overseas. If you were looking to move to one of two counties and you liked both equally well but one had property taxes of $6K/yr and the other had $3K/yr wouldn't you take the $3K/yr all else being equal? We are competing with other countries for jobs now and a high tax rate makes us non-competitive. -
Probably. The big issue is the holdback which is never published publicly even though most people know the percentage.
