  1. I push the button, say “destination street address.......123 Main Street anytown.... and it’s done. Not sure why it would be slower for you unless you’re speaking slower, but it works better when you speak normally or even slightly faster. Make sure prompts are in advanced mode so they’re shorter. The problem with doing it from another app is just getting the apis to talk to each other and then having to continually test those apis each time the app or sync 3 changes. It’s doable but a lot of effort to keep it up for not much benefit over voice control. They tried this with MFT and mapquest and it never worked right.
  2. It all depends on how many are left in stock. There aren't huge changes so I would expect modest incentives on left over 2018s. Maybe an extra $1K - $2K if you're lucky.
  3. Incentives only apply to new vehicles - CPOs are just used cars sold by the dealer with a warranty. Ford has nothing to do with it other than providing the warranty.
  4. I understand but you don’t have to type, you can just read the address. Have you tried that?
  5. All Edges and MKX are made in Oakville Canada.
  6. On the rain sensing wipers, you can adjust the sensitivity on the stalk. You also have to make sure the area behind the sensor (in front of the rear view mirror at the top of the windshield) is clean and don’t put anything like rain-x on that area. Mine have worked perfectly 99% of the time on multiple vehicles for the last 20 years.
  7. Probably a flaky wheel sensor or wiring to a wheel sensor. The codes should tell you which wheel.
  8. Probably when they start shipping to dealers. They don’t want people reading reviews and getting excited and then not be able to go see or drive one for several months.
  9. Why would you need to do that anyway? Just hit the voice button and say the address.
  10. Sounds like a wiring problem between the cluster and the PCM.
  11. Might also be a weak battery. If it’s 3 years old or older I’d replace it just to be safe.
  12. I would not trust aftermarket. What are your symptoms?
  13. Just FYI - they’re available at blueovalforums.com. All makes and models and all recent years.
  14. No, nor should there be. If there was only the lawyers would get anything. All mfrs have certain parts that wear out including engines and transmissions. It’s called a limited warranty for a reason. If you want extra protection buy the extended warranty and you’re covered.
  15. It all depends on how the engine is tuned. The PCM combats knock by retarding the timing. The vette’s tuning may allow it to run ok on regular but it’s probably borderline. In high heat or if you get a gas station with crappy gas that may push it over the edge, so to play it safe they require premium.
  16. Don’t have to watch it to answer that one. If your owner’s manual requires Premium, use premium. Period. Outside the Ford GT I don’t think any Ford requires premium. If your owner’s manual says you can use Premium to get better performance then its optional. You’ll get a bit more power and a tiny bump in mpg by using Premium but it’s not enough to make up the difference in cost. So Premium will cost more. Whether it’s worth it for you is up to you depending on how you like the performance. If your owner’s manual doesn’t say either of the above then you won’t get any benefit from Premium. 30-40 years ago they used to put better additives in Premium fuel but that’s no longer the case.
  17. It's called a ST because Ford Performance tuned it. That's all it means. It doesn't mean it has to meet a specific performance target. This should be the fastest and best handling Edge ever produced. And I don't see where they could get much more performance out of it on the current platform.
  18. I did not think the ecoboost engines had the same design or same problems. I'll have to check.
  19. Fair enough. I just don't see why calling it a ST is such a problem. There is only so much they can do with the platforms they're given. I expect the Explorer ST based on the RWD CD6 to be spectacular since they won't be hampered with a transverse platform.
  20. So just because it doesn't measure up to YOUR standards they shouldn't sell it? Mmmkay. It's an improved Edge Sport. Nothing more nothing less. If you don't want it don't buy it.
  21. Amazing how we can get accurate test results with a $75 tester but the dealerships can’t.
