Wait - are you getting an AWD Off message or just a general Wrench warning light?

Oh it will probably affect other Edges but the same applies to all of them - once they determine the problem and issue the fix it shouldn't reoccur.

Is the warning light still on when the dealer looks at it? If so they should be able to get a code. If not you might want to try a different dealer.

It's a shame Ford is still having these types of issues on new vehicle launches. But once fixed they shouldn't reoccur.

How exactly are you activating the lock and unlock? To unlock you touch the inside of the door handle. To lock you touch the raised area on top of the door handle. If that's what you're doing, pay attention to where the fob is in relation to the door. If it's in your left pocket and you're facing forward I've had occasions where the fob was too far away from the sensor.

It should do just as well as your Mazda6 which I assume is FWD. There isn’t anything special or different about an Edge vs a Mazda6.

What do you and/or your family members drive now? I live in Atlanta where we shut down the city for an inch of snow, but from what I’ve heard FWD is ok with dedicated winter and/or snow tires. Although AWD will get you out of a few more situations.

No difference in assembly time. The hold up is usually shipping.

The active noise cancellation and piped in intake sound are two different things. The first eliminates bad noise from entering the cabin. The second tries to add "good" noise to the cabin.

If it just rubbed the side of the wheel and tire then probably not, but if she hit it hard enough to bend the wheel then I would definitely get it aligned.

The 3.5L V6 was discontinued - only The 2.0L and 2.7L ecoboost are options now (the latter only on the ST). The engine sound is piped in to make it sound sportier. Becoming quite common these days.

Strange considering the engine isn’t new. Hopefully they fix it and you won’t have other problems.

I'd be surprised if it's really turbo lag - ecoboost engines don't normally have any turbo lag because of the small turbos. Delays are usually from the Electronic Throttle Control or the Transmission. The first can be fixed with a tune or something like a JMS PedalMax. Surprised Ford Performance didn't fix it with their tune though so maybe it's something else.
