  1. Does it do this on all contacts with mobile numbers or only certain ones? Have you tried upgrading the phone's firmware? My guess is the phone isn't passing the contact info for Mobile numbers the way Sync is expecting it, so it doesn't see it.
  2. How are you telling it to call? Are you saying "Call on mobile" or just "Call " and letting Sync prompt you for the right number?
  3. Sounds like an intermittent bad sensor. If they can see it with the lights on they should be able to extract the code telling them which sensor.
  4. Law Enforcement Officers (I'm guessing)

    Poor MPG

Should only be 1 mpg or so lower for AWD.

    Poor MPG

Why don't you believe it? Every Ford duratec owner has the same experience - takes up to 5K to break in fully. And if you think the mpg ratings are false advertising, think again. Those aren't Ford's numbers on the sticker - they're the EPA numbers that Ford is required to post. Not only that - they don't guarantee you'll get those numbers - too many variables. Read the fine print and talk to the EPA if you don't like them.

    MPG??????

It will continue to improve through 5K or so so be patient. Also, the computer mpg has been consistently shown to be within 0.5 mpg of actuals BUT you have to reset it every time you fill up if you want to measure it by the tankfull. You can reset it anytime to measure mpg over a specific route or shorter time period. Stop and go and idling will KILL your fuel mileage.
  8. Make sure none of the names are in all caps - Sync thinks that is an acronym. Only capitalize the first letter (or none).
  9. They are factory ordered but I *think* they're still installed by the dealer. My guess is they just ship them with the vehicle and include them on the invoice.
  10. I think the black looks a lot better, especially after a few years. Just didn't want you to be unpleasantly surprised.
  11. I hope you read the posts about the dash being black now instead of camel.
  12. You can't do it yourself. Try this forum on BON: http://www.blueovalforums.com/forums/index.php?showforum=80
  13. It's the old "resistor in the Mass Air Flow sensor circuit" scam. It tricks the computer into thinking there's more (or less) air entering the engine. And obviously it doesn't work.
  14. You're the only one who's complained about it around here - most think it's an improvement. If you'd read all of the glare comments then maybe you'd understand why they did it.
  15. Also - some dealers simply won't deal with certain other dealers. So even if it was in stock somewhere it has to be a dealer that will trade cars with your dealer. Unless your salesperson was just lazy I would assume that one couldn't be found.
  16. And the CD3 platform was derived from the Mazda6, but it was modified (widened and lengthened) for the Fusion/Milan/MKZ and then modified again for the Edge/MKX. The 2009 Mazda6 should use the new, larger Ford CD3 version of the platform.
  17. You can't negotiate the buyout of your leased vehicle. You either pay the price in the lease or walk away - no choice. Many LS owners tried to do this when their vehicles were worth far less than the residual and Ford said no - they can't afford to individually negotiate each lease buyout.
  18. Well they still can't charge the full doc fee plus the dealers may not even be aware of the change. I'm still trying to figure out why they made that change - $75 hardly seems worth the trouble.
  19. Make that used to be no document fee. Now they can charge up to $75.
  20. To do that you have to buy the associated homelink controllers.
  21. If you want both then just replace the visor with a SEL visor (assuming the wiring is still there) with homelink and the vanity mirror already installed. Or you can buy a homelink equipped rear view mirror (won't solve the vanity light). Be aware both of these options will run close to or above $300.
  22. I think there is a bigger rebate for leasing right now but that is offset some by the additional fees. The other gamble is that you can get 4.9% today, but you don't know what you could get 3 years from now if you have to finance the buyout. Personally - unless you need the lower lease payment right now I'd bite the bullet and purchase it with the 4.9% financing. Even if it costs a little more you'll have a lot more flexibility in case something happens or you decide to do something different down the road.
  23. It was done on purpose for fuel economy. The drivetrain engineers didn't like it but weren't given a choice.
  24. It's a function of the engine idle speed and torque converter stall speed.
