  1. I have not heard of any workable fix for the seatback cooling on older models.
  2. No evidence of that in an Edge or any other Ford product.
  3. That is a classic brake booster/master cylinder problem which is fixed by replacing one or both. Show me another example where someone with an Edge completely lost their brake pedal and brakes suddenly and it was fixed by only bleeding the system. Because that’s what you claimed.
  4. Every link I see in google is about failed master cylinders or brake boosters.
  5. They don't use break in oil any more and the way engines are built today you don't have to worry about metal shavings like the old days. Change it early if it makes you feel better but it's absolutely not necessary.
  6. If I did that to my wife she’d slap me and tell me she’s capable of opening her own door.
  7. Your "smoking gun" theory has one problem - this is the first description of this problem I've heard. We've had master cylinder and booster failures but nothing like you described where the brakes went out completely and were fine after bleeding.
  8. The owner's manual describes how to change the menu option to "unlock all doors" instead of just "unlock driver's door". It should be in the left hand menu.
  9. It doesn't matter how much you paid. Occasional condensation is normal but it should clear up. More than just condensation is a problem and it has nothing to do with whether the lights are "vented" or not. The lights need to be replaced and if it's reoccuring after they're replaced then either the dealer isn't installing them correctly or they're using more defective parts. A good dealer should be able to fix this once and for all.
  10. It works on every other Ford vehicle for the last 30 years. Clearly you have some issue the dealer hasn't been able to fix. Maybe it's time to find a new dealer?
  11. How would venting help Ford make more money? Quite the opposite actually. I agree with TheWizard on this one - you're just not happy so you're venting (see what I did there?) and you're not going to listen to any rational explanation.
  12. Adaptive Steering says it was removed from the 2019 Titanium and there is no other mention of it in the order guide so yeah, it’s gone.
  13. I believe he was referring to the bumper assembly being different not the hitch itself.

Guys that's a photoshop not an actual vehicle
  15. In downtown Seattle they do reverse angled parking so you have to go past the space then back in. I thought it was stupid when I first saw it but then realized it was actually far safer and a great idea. But you can’t always back in. I got really pissed off last weekend and wished I had some zip ties or something with me. To the left of my grey F150 were 20 completely empty parking spots and this asshole parks right next to my truck and another car. I had to crawl in through the passenger door. It drives me crazy when my wife tries to park next to a curb or right next to one or two vehicles when there are open spots 10 feet away.
  16. But you have to admit it's the one area where there is no manual alternative for the technology. You just have to back out slowly and pray nobody hits you. Just like seeing directly behind your bumper from the driver's seat. Other things like blind spot detection you are 100% correct.
  17. The biggest advantage is they can swap out the smaller and larger screen without any other changes to the dash.
  18. It's 2000, you're by yourself and you have to back out from between 2 large trucks into oncoming traffic. Whatchagonnado?
  19. Well obviously the 180 degree camera is better but cross traffic worked fine on my 2013 Fusion.
  20. Get used to it. As screens get bigger it’s the only option outside full sized trucks and SUVs. Not enough room to integrate it into the dash unless you get rid of all the buttons like Tesla which is worse.
  21. Probably cost cutting. Same reason Edge and Nautilus use the same engines and the 2.3 and 3.0 EBs are not available.
  22. But it’s gaining interior space for passengers which is arguably more important for most buyers. And I know the OP wasn’t talking about a 2020 - I was just pointing out that all those issues with the 2019 have been mostly fixed with the 2020.
