  1. It's a lot easier to swap wheels than it is to swap tires.
  2. I forgot exactly but it's right behind the door speaker. There is plenty of room.
  3. Get some velcro or double sided tape to mount the crossover. It's big.
  4. The tweeter cover just pops off and the wires are easy to access. I don't think it was too hard to remount the new tweeter but that was a couple of years ago so I don't remember exactly. If you wanted to keep the stock tweeter or use a non-component door speaker with a different tweeter you can always just buy a crossover.
  5. Are you using a regular coffee cup or a travel mug? I would think the travel mugs would fit fine and would work much better since they're covered.
  6. The factory speaker has a built-in crossover - if you just replace the door speaker you'll lose the crossover and the tweeter won't sound right. You need to buy a component set that comes with a crossover - you can replace the factory tweeter with a better sounding component tweeter and upgrade the whole thing with existing wiring. The head unit goes to the crossover and the crossover feeds the 2 speakers. I used Polk Audio in my Fusion (5.25" I think - 6.5" might fit).
  7. EUCD is a heavily modified C1. It is not related to CD3. CD4 will likely be a combination of CD3 and EUCD. EUCD won't fit a V6 - CD3 and CD4 will.
  8. Try this. Seems to be a problem with the 4 digit vs. 6 digit pin. http://www.droidforums.net/forum/droid-gen...-ford-sync.html
  9. Did you turn on bluetooth? Does it work with any other bluetooth devices?
  10. It only affects a very small number of vehicles. The problem is they don't know which ones. So you'd rather see them spend an enormous amount of money tearing apart and fixing perfectly fine vehicles just to fix a handfull? They're not "hoping most of you fall out of the warranty". If they wanted to do that then they would have done nothing at all. This will cover 99% of the bad heater cores (at least) and it's the right thing to do.
  11. Shouldn't be a problem as long as you're using voice commands and not typing in stuff on the nav screen or watching movies on it while you're driving.....
  12. Of course it does. I was referring to the question of whether it could be done manually in case the vehicle didn't trigger it automatically and the answer is yes because you can dial 911 manually very easily which is what Sync would do.
  13. All the 911 assist does is dial 911 which you can easily do yourself. Not sure about the other features.
  14. If the Edge gets the 2.0L EB it will be an optional engine. They're not going to discontinue the 3.5L and they'll probably add the new 300 HP 3.7L or the 350 hp EB 3.5L as a sport option at some point.
  15. Tried them last night - much, much better and nobody was flashing me thinking I had brights on so I guess they're ok.
  16. At least 3 turns counterclockwise on the passenger side. Maybe 2 on the driver's side. Same on my Fusion.
  17. Like I said - big difference between wanting more power and saying it's "underpowered". For the vast majority of drivers it has plenty of power for all normal driving situations and I can't think of a competitor that has significantly more power. The CTS is not a competitor.
  18. If YOU want more power - fine, but that doesn't mean it's currently underpowered. Name a competitor that has significantly more power.
  19. No way. MKT is much larger and has 3 rows of seating. MKT is built off the Flex platform while MKX is built off the Edge platform. MKX only has 2 rows of seats. MKT and Flex have the EB 3.5L engine, MKX and Edge don't (yet). 2 different sizes.
  20. The 4 cylinder (if available) will be the 2.0L Ecoboost Direct Injection turbocharged version putting out around 250 hp give or take. It should yield similar performance to the current 3.5L with better fuel economy.
  21. I think you just like to hear yourself complain. What's next? www.badrightrearwheelbearingedge.com? www.trannyhesitatesshiftingfrom2ndto3rdedge.com?
  22. I just raised mine up tonight after driving to get take-out in the dark dreary fog.
  23. That's better than the 2 Wal-Mart stories I know about. They put on the wrong filter and ended up buying 2 new engines after they lost all of the oil within a few miles.
  24. It gets plugged up because of things coming loose inside the heater core. Flushing it may get rid of the obstruction. Makes sense to me.
