  1. You have to click on the trash can in the lower right of the thumbnail below the post in the editor.
  2. Well first you have to create the playlist file. Did you do that?
  3. The temperature is your desired temperature just like your home thermostat. It adjusts the air temp and fan setting as needed to get to and maintain the desired temp. It’s working as designed.
  4. Press the voice button. “Play playlist xyz.” couldn’t be simpler.

This forum is also for MKX/Nautilus owners since they share a lot of things. Or people who don't yet own an edge but are thinking about it. Also it's just generic forum software. Honestly not much attention has been paid to either those questions or whether they're displayed or not. But I can assure you we're not selling that information.

Extra credit on your spelling test this week. Now go do your homework.......
  7. I've owned an Edge and a MKX and moderated this forum since 2008. Yours is the first I've heard with that type of recurring problem. If that's what is happening you have some type of chassis issue. Has it ever been wrecked? Regardless of the problem it's a defect and defects are only covered during the warranty period. I'd suggest trading it in. If you don't want another Edge that's understandable but that could happen to any vehicle from any mfr and it's not common on Edges.
  8. How does the consumer know anything about the vehicle other than what Ford says? The part numbers are different - why would they go to all that trouble otherwise?
  9. It was the only reasonable way to fit the large engine transversely in the CD4 platform. That's the only reason. And that in and of itself is not a bad thing - there are Edges our there with 300K miles on the original water pump. Regular coolant changes is definitely recommended as preventative medicine though.
  10. Seems strange that stress fractures would occur many years later unless something happened to the vehicle. If it was a manufacturing defect it should have happened relatively quickly. There is a reason that glass is covered under comprehensive insurance.
  11. The components are beefed up to handle the extra wear and tear. Not really an issue.
  12. They just don’t like the idea of the engine stopping. The rest is just rationalization.
  13. Light brake pedal pressure will prevent it from stopping.
  14. The savings are 5%-7% and they beefed up all of the affected components so longevity isn’t a concern. But it sounds like you’ve already decided you hate it.

    Octane Additives

    Yes in the owner’s manual.
  16. It’s too tempting even if you don’t intend to look. That’s why it’s illegal.

    Octane Additives

Generally speaking the ecoboost engines can take advantage of higher octane but the NA 3.5 cannot. Maybe some later 3.5s?
  18. Of course it’s ok. You’ll get better mpg but not enough to make up for the higher price.
  19. Leave it on for 1 month and keep an open mind and see if you get used to it. I hated it the first time I encountered it but now I actually like it on my f150 and it does save fuel.
  20. Unfortunately you’ll probably take some innocent people with you. Please be careful.
  21. There have been numerous issues with in batteries new vehicles for the last decade. Most don’t last more than 3-4 years. Climate makes a difference and putting it on the charger should help a lot. There have been a few edge specific issues that drain the battery prematurely including a bad park shift sensor.
  22. Ford has used a synthetic blend factory oil for the last decade or two.
  23. Hard to select something that isn’t available.
  24. Bad idea and illegal but it’s your car, your money and your life.
