  1. They’re sold together as a unit and it’s safer to just replace both.
  2. Agreed. Political comments deleted.
  3. All a plug in chip can do is fool some sensors and sometimes trick the engine into performing better. It can only change one or two things. A tuner changes the software and can adjust hundreds of things including fuel ratio, timing, transmission shifts, etc.
  4. You get what you pay for. Don’t bother with anything other than a tuner.
  5. Thanks for letting us know. If you don’t want MyKey why did you turn it on? The locks aren’t supposed to unlock when you shift into park. Only when you open the door and only if you have that option turned on.
  6. Almost as annoying as people who complain about it without even trying it.
  7. Word of caution. NEVER assume a new part is always good. I’ve seen brand new batteries, cooling fans and alternators along with other parts be bad out of the box.
  8. I also recommend a C-Tek smart charger/reconditioner to go with the BA-7. Throw it on once a month and keep the battery topped up. Recondition if it starts to get bad.
  9. First things first. How old is the battery and how do you know it’s good?
  10. Voltage means nothing. You need to test the CCAs compared to new. The old style load/voltage testers are worthless. Buy a Solar BA-7 or equivalent tester.
  11. If the battery is more than 3 years old just replace it.
  12. Trick question? Replace the fans with Motorcraft parts NOT Dorman or other aftermarket brands they are crap. Do a search for more details and procedures.
  13. ESPs are never bumper to bumper. The plan explicitly details what is and isn't covered. Always read the coverage on any warranty.
  14. It’s really not going to make a difference in power.
  15. Of course only use the impact to remove and snug up the lug nuts. Tighten with an accurate torque wrench.
  16. Bought this one a few months ago. Breaks loose my 150 lb/ft f150 lug nuts without even trying hard. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007NVSQSC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  17. Standard on limited 302A which also includes BLIS and adaptive cruise. It should also appear in the settings menu to turn them off and on.
  18. Because they’re portable And provide all the charging options you just mentioned. Charge it from the car while you drive and run the mini fridge from the car while driving. When you stop switch it to the battery pack with solar or AC power. Recharge it with the car if necessary. And it’s not lead acid.
  19. It’s either the fuel pump priming itself or the rear differential solenoid calibrating. Nothing to worry about. There may be a TSB to make it less noticeable - check with the dealer.
  20. You're definitely a special case. Now go to your room and finish your homework!
  21. The biggest restriction is always the butterfly in the throttle body until you hit WOT.
  22. Yes, the K&N filters make a huge difference.........in sound.
  23. I don’t think they changed the design - the same TED that heats the seats also cools them. I think Ford just changed some of the wording to prevent customer complaints when they don’t cool well.
