Apparently you don't understand recalls. Those are only done for safety reasons. What you probably meant was they should extend the warranty on the evap cannister and purge valve and I would tend to agree. With the exception that at least some of these problems are caused by people overfilling the fuel tank. Ford shouldn't be on the hook for that.

Not on an Edge. The warranty would only apply to the supported vehicles. Even though the engine is basically the same I doubt the Focus tune would work since they are completely different platforms. -
Also eliminates hardware. With Android Auto and Apple Carplay they may need to start offering free map updates to get people to buy the build in Nav.

The reason there is no "buy now" button is because the dealers don't want it and there is nothing Ford can do about it due to automotive franchise laws. It's actually illegal for Ford to sell vehicles directly and by the same token they can't control how the dealers operate. You can use the online dealer inventory search for any zip code. It searches a 60 mile radius or so by default and you can use different zip codes for more coverage. The only downside is you can't tell for sure if the vehicle is in stock (could be in transit or recently sold) and you can't search by option package code (300A, 301A, 400A, etc.). But you can find the vehicles in the inventory.

Tail light Condensation

Not a recall, just a warranty replacement and a common problem on early build 2015s. Some condensation that goes away quickly is normal but in some cases it's excessive and requires a replacement. -
Ford Edge Driver Door Latch recall?

There is NO recall on Edge door latches for this sensor problem. There is a recall on Fusion and other vehicles (not Edge) for door latches but that's due to the latch actually breaking and the door coming open. That happened to my Fusion last week and I got all of the latches replaced per the recall. They're not going to include the sensor failures in the recall. Good luck to you if you want to fight it but I wouldn't hold my breath. When you pay to get it fixed (which I can almost guarantee will happen) keep the receipt in case Ford does extend the recall to the Edge down the road. -
Just FYI - Sync 3 doesn't use SD cards. I assume the map updates will come with the software updates or via a separate usb download.

I get it. All I'm saying is that auto will control both the fan speed and the vent location. If you want it to do something differently like blowing hot air from the dash or stay at low speed then you can't use auto. But sometimes people don't even try auto because they don't understand how it works. And I think normal operation does work for the vast majority.

I understand it's easier to use the steering wheel buttons. I do that in my Fusion but only for temp. I think you're misunderstanding how auto works. In auto mode at 70 degrees ambient temp, if you set the temp to 65 it will blow cold air from the dash vents. If you turn it up to 85 it will blow hot air from the floor vent. So yes it does change the vent setting automatically for heat or AC. If the ambient temp is 80 and you start the vehicle with the auto mode set to 72 the fans will come on full blast trying to cool it down to 72. If you raise the auto temp up to 80 the fans will slow way down or stop altogether because you're at the target temp. You can absolutely control the fan speed using the auto temp. You may not like how it does it, but that doesn't mean it's not possible.

They're replacing the taillamp assemblies. -
You don't need to change the vents or the fan speed in auto mode. It will automatically select the top vents for A/C and the bottom vent for heat and it will adjust the fan speed automatically. You can change the fan speed by adjusting the temp up or down. I haven't needed to use the manual A/C controls at any time in the last 10+ years. Try it. If you get in a hot car and the A/C is going full blast and you want to slow down the fans just raise the set temperature, then lower it later after the vehicle has cooled off. It works fine if you don't fight it.

I wouldn't necessarily blame the assembly line. It could have been mislabeled by the supplier and as you found out yourself it's not that easy to spot immediately. Now if it was a red spoiler on a white car........

Those may be painted offsite like bumpers - maybe they just picked up the Oxford white part by mistake. Should be easy to fix.

That feature is unique to the intelligent access models with push button start. I think that's now standard on all edges.

Previously built-in nav systems cost $2K and DVD map updates were $200. The attraction is that it's integrated with a huge 8" screen and is accessible using voice commands from the vehicle. But with apple carplay you can get the same benefits at no additional cost although you'll lose some vehicle functionality while in carplay mode (or so it seems).

It's very timing sensitive. A WORD OF CAUTION Do not try to program a bi-directional remote start IA fob (Fusion/MKZ and Edge/MKX e.g.) to more than one vehicle. It won't work. It will program the key for the new vehicle but it will no longer work on the old vehicle. Luckily my local dealer gave me a brand new key at no extra charge even though I was beyond the 3 yr b2b warranty for my Fusion. I only asked them to reprogram them and I was willing to pay for it. They had just done the first free service on our MKX and were looking for an excellent rating. They got it. Also got a free loaner for my Fusion while they performed 3 recalls I'd been saving up. We'll see if I get the same service on future visits.

Instructions are in the OM. Basically you use the start button to put it into learn mode, then insert all 3 keys in the center console starting with the two good keys.
