I preferred the hidden hitch style a little better than draw-tite or curt. It looks and works great on my 16 mkx.

Check the wiring going to the wheel speed sensors and look for damage to the tone ring (looks like a sprocket with teeth).
-
I thought the TSS/OSS symptoms were bad shifting or tranny operation. That sounds like a bad wheel speed sensor or broken tone ring.

If you're looking at an Acadia you should consider an Explorer as well. -
How often do you see other 2016's or 15's on the road?

And you won't see many more - it was discontinued and replaced by Blue Jeans. -
Auto Locks and other IA questions
akirby replied to cxxxv's topic in Alarms, Keyless Entry, Locks & Remote Start
Autolock locks the doors after you're moving. Auto unlock unlocks the doors after you stop, turn off the ignition and open the driver's door. -
SYNC 3 and CarPlay/Android Auto Information

That's because it's not ready for self-installation yet - it only fixes a few specific problems that owners might have. There will be a wi-fi installable update soon. -

He's referring to the USB hub update, not the software. -
Business As Usual They can't keep the incentives unless you sign them over to the dealership. They're payable to you not the dealer.

Brake Squeal After Releasing Brake Pedal
akirby replied to Brett Timmer's topic in Brakes, Chassis & Suspension
I'm not 100% sure how it works but it is the parking brake mechanism which is why it's only on the rear wheels. IIRC the newer Fords with electric parking brakes may no longer use that type of system and you may not need to turn the piston to retract it. But again I'm not 100% sure on that either. -
So those should be brighter than standard bulbs.
-
Are the brake bulbs LEDs?
-
I was trying to say it nicely, but that was my point. I've seen cars with dark tinted tails where you literally could not see the brake lights in the daytime and barely see them at night.

Brake Squeal After Releasing Brake Pedal

It doesn't turn while braking. -
They will definitely reimburse any previous repairs.

How much did it reduce the light output?

I understand this is probably a tough thing for Ford to fix from an engineering perspective. But I don't understand why they don't simply extend the warranty to 100K miles (other than the obvious one). This would placate nearly all the affected customers.

Rain sensing wipers and rain-x do not play well together anyway.

That's not a deal - that's BAU. You always get the incentives at the time of delivery unless your dealer applied for the incentive protection program that gives you the option of what was there when you ordered or what is there when you take delivery. You don't have to worry about the dealer stock thing. As soon as your Edge rolls off the truck onto the dealer lot it is part of "dealer stock". It's just a way of saying that they're only guaranteeing the incentives at the time of actual delivery (unless you are in the other program).

And you don't think other brands have the exact same types of problems? Good luck with that.

On the Ford system you can adjust the sensitivity with the dial on the stalk. Sometimes I have to adjust it a little.

Are you sure that auto-unlock is enabled? Double check the menu. Do you hear the doors unlock when you open the driver's door? Are the other doors unlocked? I assume you know about the lock sensor on the top of the handle and you're not hitting it by accident. Also as previously suggested - you need to wait a half-second or so after touching it to start pulling. Are you sure the fob is right next to the door?
