  1. Really no need to run anything other than the factory motorcraft filters.
  2. http://www.etrailer.com/Accessories-and-Parts/Tow-Ready/18144.html It's a little pricey but it works great.
  3. That was 27Sport, not me. Try fordparts.com to find the parts and check with Benny at Levittown Ford - he'll help you out.
  4. It may test ok depending on who is doing the testing. I'd just replace it.
  5. The hidden hitch version looks better to me and it's completely hidden. You can buy a simple inexpensive holder for the wiring adapter that mounts with a couple screws to the hitch or bottom of the bumper. Got mine at etrailer.com.
  6. If the battery is more than 3 years old, replace it.
  7. I tried reverse wiping but I couldn't reach that far.
  8. The Ford molded splash guards have always been great on past vehicles. Can't speak to the 2017 Edge specifically though.
  9. A data connection to support a wi-fi hotspot would cost at least $10/month. For remote start/status/location etc it appears they're using SMS Text thus the low cost (it's free on certain Lincolns - no monthly charge).
  10. Nope. That won't work. Instructions are in the owner's manual. You have to lock it with the keypad.
  11. You guys rock! Thanks for your service!
  12. Those are Ford parts so any Ford dealer. Levittown Ford is a good source.
  13. On iphones you have to turn notifications back on after you make the bluetooth connection on the phone. Maybe Android has a similar issue. Look for options on the live bluetooth connection.
  14. In that case contact FordIVTeam by PM or on facebook or twitter or call customer service and explain the situation and see if they can update your account so you can download 3.8. You may be able to find where somebody posted the updates but I would be very careful - you could brick the system completely with the wrong or corrupted files.
  15. You can configure the left hand screen to show a tach.
  16. Did they go from 3.0.2 to 3.8? Or did they go from 3.5+ to 3.8? 3.5.1 required the A4 card. Later releases might be able to use either A3 or A4.
  17. Sorry I misread that. 3.5.1 required a new A4 SD card - dealer should provide that at no additional charge.
  18. I believe 3.0 was a dealer installed upgrade only. It may require a new SD card for navigation and there may have been a possibility of bricking the system. I'm sure you can find more details if you do a forum search. It was a hot topic.
  19. The fobs aren't necessarily interchangeable between platforms (D3 Taurus vs CD4 Edge). You might be able to find a different style compatible fob. The only time I've had problems in my pocket is if there are keys or something else that presses the buttons. The fob alone isn't a problem.
  20. Ditto. We have 19s on the other vehicles and had 20s on our older Edge and now have the 21s on our 2016 MKX. No difference in ride quality.
  21. I really don't understand why they don't just extend the warranty. For is making great profits right now. Time to reinvest some of that into better quality and better customer service.
