  1. I hope you used the right air. I prefer a very precise blend of 78% Nitrogen, 21% oxygen and 1% inert gases. I keep a compressor full of it in my garage at all times. It's also good for other mundane tasks such as breathing and blowing off sawdust.
  2. Mercedes and BMWs seem to be most affected by lack of fluid changes. I can't count the number of those vehicles I've seen where the blinkers don't work......
  3. I wonder if they shorted something during the replacement. I've never had those kinds of issues and I've replaced several batteries the last few years on multiple vehicles.

    Named your Edge?

And if you're a UGA fan the answer is NEITHER!!!!
  5. Also possible the OEM filter never had it (factory cost savings).

    Named your Edge?

We put a lot of thought into naming our MKX. It's officially called "your car" or "her car".
  8. I have some instant water but I can't figure out what to add to it.
  9. Did the same thing in a 75 cutlass over an unexpectedly raised railroad track. Pretty much killed whatever was left of the shocks and springs which wasn't much. Scared the crap out of me as well.
  10. All this muffler talk is exhausting...
  11. Red and Orange are the fastest. I've heard White is really slow.
  12. Not as much as the MACT sticker.....
  13. You must use FAT32 - don't think NTFS is supported. If it starts over then it probably thinks you put in a new usb drive for some reason. You may have a usb hardware issue. If you have 2 ports try the other one. Also try pulling the fuse to reset power to the entire system and if that doesn't work try a master reset.
  14. There is a separate ambient temp sensor in the front bumper area. It's normal for the temp sensor to read that high after sitting in the sun on a hot day and/or with a hot engine. What isn't normal is for that temp to actually be displayed. The programming normally shows the previous temp until you've driven enough to eliminate the heat soak. In fact there is a thread over on the Edge forum where people are complaining that it doesn't change for several minutes on startup.
  15. No, he's talking about the actual width of the tire and how much the sidewall sticks out beyond the edge of the wheel. There is leeway in the width of the tire relative to the width of the wheel. E.g. if you go from a 235 tire to a 255 tire it's 20 mm wider.
  16. Especially with some dark accents.
  17. It's lighter than Blue Jeans but I think it looks great.
  18. Once you get the original code you can add your own code.
  19. The dealer can retrieve it for you or it might be visible on a sticker under the left side of the dash below and to the left of the steering wheel. It can't be changed.
  20. When does this occur - at startup or after you've been driving at speed (> 40 mph) for a few minutes? If it's the latter then it's probably a bad temp sensor. The sensor can easily read that high after it's been sitting in the sun on a hot day or from residual engine heat. It is programmed to not change the previous temp until you've driven sufficiently to cool down the surrounding areas so you shouldn't see 125 on startup either.
