  1. Doubtful they would have a parameter to control that. In ford's defense I have found voice control to work great for navigation while moving.
  2. Topic moved to appropriate forum.
  3. That's why I said "most". Besides, yours is probably due to your MACT sticker......
  4. But most tunes will require premium (91 or 93 octane) negating some if not all mpg gains.
  5. At some point you just gotta say screw the lawyers and make it a user selectable setting with a disclaimer. Same thing with using the Nav while in motion.
  6. Not that I've ever heard of, but that would be a useful hack if it existed. My wife could have used it on her Escape when her idiot husband left the moonroof open one night.....
  7. Topic moved to the Interior forum. Forum help is only for issues with the website itself.
  8. You don't - you have MyFordTouch (Sync 2). Sync 3 didn't appear until the latter 2016 models. The point was there should be a menu option(s) to control it in the left hand menus.
  9. Maybe his commute is downhill in both directions.
  10. It's only available on some models. If you have it there will be a menu option called "Adaptive Cruise" you can turn off or on. There will also be a steering wheel button that has arrows going up and down - this adjusts how close you get to the vehicle in front of you.
  11. Worst case you're only lifting half the weight which would be just over 1 ton. 2 tons should be plenty.
  12. If it's really defective they will exchange it but first you really need to rule out the installation. I know you said it was installed correctly but I've said that a lot of times and been wrong.
  13. Dealership sticker is meaningless. That's just their suggestion on when you get your next service. Has nothing to do with warranty claims.
  14. Did you warm up the engine first?
  15. Crankcase pressure I presume......
  16. It depends on whether it's considered a separate repair or a continuation of the previous unsuccessful repair attempt. When it happens very quickly (within a few days) it's pretty straightforward but when the repairs are a few weeks or months apart it becomes a grey area. Check your warranty documentation for options - you should at least complain to Ford.
  17. No - it gets updates automatically over the satellite as needed. I assume GM and Ford have some type of pre-existing contract or other financial incentive to stick with Sirius only or XM only radios instead of going to SiriusXM radios.
  18. Was it working before they I'd the repairs (after the accident)? I'd get a second option - could just be a loose connection.
