  1. Sounds like the USB ports are bad or it could be the APIM (controller).
  2. The problem is Edge is on an old dead platform and going away in a couple of years so they’re just not going to put any effort to fix something that is t causing a real problem.
  3. I don’t think it’s that simple and even if it were doing that on a few hundred thousand vehicles is neither simple or cheap.
  4. Technically yes but there is no reason to turn it off and it’s not worth the effort to remove the menu option.
  5. The point is tempered glass is not a safety hazard when it breaks so adding the plastic laminate to keep it together doesn’t make it more safe. I guess laminated tempered glass might be stronger but I don’t think it’s safer.
  6. New date is 8/29. The order guide was just released. I’ll post it shortly.
  7. That’s possible but I thought our first Gen Fusion and Edge worked that way. Maybe not.
  8. Pull twice on the rear door ha does and they will unlock themselves.
  9. Try it with a different phone to see if the problem is the phone or the car.
  10. They may have disconnected the battery cable during the warranty work. Let it sit for 8 hours and see if it starts working.
  11. Are you testing the locks from inside? The front doors will open even when locked. The rear doors will open by moving the handle twice. It’s a safety feature.
  12. That’s not the Ford standard interval- that’s whatever your dealer wants to suggest. I’ve seen some still recommending 3K mile changes which is ridiculous. Ford says IOLM or 10k max for normal service. $5k for severe service. Or something similar. It’s in the OM.
  13. None of my current vehicles give you an option on percentage. Past vehicles did.
  14. 1004ron is also a moderator and we’ve already reached out to Robert. It only affects the moderators.
  15. Well you didn’t mention that you replaced the bulbs with LEDs. I bet the bulbs are installed wrong or just don’t work with the edge housing. Put OEM bulbs in and see if it goes back to normal.
  16. They wouldn’t build them without a PCM - how would you get them off the assembly line?
  17. Electronics rarely just stop working after several years unless they are damaged. If they’re defective they fail quickly. 30 yr old vehicles have computers - has parts ever been an issue?
  18. They are modules that do, in fact, plug in and yes the vehicles are driveable.
  19. In theory, yes. But when was the last time you saw a tire or wheel fail from inside rust?
