  1. You can order that from the dealer. I've heard it's not too expensive. Should be a screw or two per piece for installation.
  2. I throw crap on the floors in the driver well in a spot where I won't step on it. Then I chuck it when I get out. That's for tissues, napkins etc. Sometimes I use the door pockets too depending on the length of trip and if I have the kid with me.
  3. Did you get these from all one supplier? BTW, it looks nice in the thumbnails, but the pics are way too large to see anything in full mode.
  4. It's called 3M Di Noc Or 3M scotchprint 1080 find it on eBay.
  5. You get fuel cut to the injectors when coasting downhill. Which doesn't regenerate your power, it just fully utilizes the potential energy you put into the hill. To have regenerative braking, you would need some type of electric motor to act as a generator. Maybe this would be possible with smart alternators in the future. I know BMW has clutched alternators and regenerative brakes on the M3 and newer 5 series.
  6. IIRC, Ti-VCT was added on the '11 engines: http://www.at.ford.com/news/Publications/Publications/Ti_VCT_Engine_Technology_FS.pdf
  7. Check this thread: http://www.fordedgeforum.com/index.php?/topic/7415-edge-mid-range-touchscreen-stereo-upgrade-top-to-bottom/page__p__59387__hl__%2Bpioneer+%2Bnav+%2Binstall__fromsearch__1&do=findComment&comment=59387
  8. But you indicated a 1/2 difference in total... so if 1/4 comes from the suspension, there must be another 1/4 in tire size difference or body mounting difference.
  9. Please do it... I would love to see this... In fact, I will pull my CC 18's and weight one this weekend if you bust out the 22's.
  10. Was just looking at choices on Tire Rack and it seems that 20" wheels will be about 5-10 lbs heavier than their 18" counterparts per wheel.
  11. What kind of rims do you like the most? thin spokes? large swept spokes? With a Sport, I would stick to the black face and chrome or polished lip look. I prefer 18s on these cars unless the brakes are going to be upgraded with a BBK that has larger rotors. I like the rotor to fill up most of the wheel well. Nothing I hate more than seeing a car with tiny brakes and huge rims. On another note, I measured the face of my CC 18s and it measures 20" at the lip.
  12. Very interested in seeing what the vinyl looks like... I've been holding off and working on other mods.
  13. What's the distance from the top of each wheel to the fender on each wheel. This will help determine if the difference is within the suspension or tires or elsewhere.
  14. You're definitely right about mentioning WHERE torque comes in. But the 2.0L turbo should make quite a flat torque curve with more torque (% wise) coming earlier in the rev band. Peak torque is available from about 1700 to 4000 RPM in most of the 2.0L EB engines.
  15. I feel that the Edge not getting the 3.5L EcoBoost is a CAFE requirement strategy among other restriaints. They want to reserve CAFE room for more brand building vehicles like SVT Raptor and SVT Mustang etc.
  16. How's the fender gap difference from side to side? It could be tire pressure difference, ground imperfections or a more serious problem. All things normal, 1" difference in body height from left to right is wrong.
  17. There are 11 binary jokes in the world... that one, and two others I can't remember.
  18. subscribed. I'm very interested to see. Where did you get the wheels? Dealer Take offs?
  19. Spacers would help getting a FWD wheel onto a RWD vehicle but not vice versa. Having said that, since the new Explorer is a FWD CUV based on Taurus, it should have the same FWD positive offset as the Edge. Do it and share pics!
