I also have a 2005 Mazda 3 in addition to my EDGE, the power points shut off when the key is off.

UPDATE, colder weather now, 16 MPG City, 22 MPG highway. Got 12.5 MPG once in extremly cold weather, all city, and filled up at half a tank. Not really representative of the norm.

It's the perfect height, not too low, not too high.

My EDGE SE was in the shop for 2.5 days, started misfiring, engine light on. It was a faulty fuel injector on # 2 cylinder. I've driven 2000 miles since, no problems. I think it was an isolated problem. I'm really enjoying the vehicle. Jim

Mine stays on after the car is off. At least the one in the center console does, haven't tried the others yet.

FWD SE, 19 MPG, mostly city, 22 MPG, highway @ ~ 75 MPH with 1300 miles on it.

OK, I got my Edge back after 3 days at the Ford dealer. The problem was a faulty fuel injector on # 2 cylinder. I've since taken the vehicle to northern Michigan on a weekend trip and it ran fine. I got around 22 MPG @ 75 MPH

I'm currently getting 19 MPG in mostly city driving, and 22 MPG on the highway @ 75MPH. I now have 1300 miles on my FWD SE. Jim

Today, while driving my edge around town, it all of a sudden developed a bad misfire from the engine. At the same time the engine light started flashing. I stoppped the car, got out the manual, it said," when the engine light is flashing, the engine is misfiring, drive slow, have the car serviced asap or damage could occur to the catalytic converter". The vehicle has 650 miles on it and is 3 weeks old. Jim

I have an EDGE SE. The key fob is built into the key. You can get an outside keypad on an SE by just ordering the convenience package. I'm not sure if the outside pad is standard on the SEL. Jim

I ordered it September 15th. I live in Southeast MI. Are you guys seeing my pictures? I clicked on the browser, chose two of them, then added the attachement's. I don'rt see them though. As for the brakes, with only 130 miles they feel fine, too early to tell, no hard stops yet. Jim Sorry, forgot to reply on the handling. Also very early in the game. It feels fine, cornering is similar to the Escape, however you can feel a little more bulk to the vehicle. What it gives up in cornering though, it makes up for on the highway. Very very smooth, yet a decent feel for the road. I had 5 people in it the other night and everyone commented on how well it rode. Jim
