Milwaukee to burlington Canada. 23 mpg.... 2011 Edge Sport AWD

It turned out to be a faulty ptu. Ford denied it but my dealer battled with them and figured it out after 8 days at the dealership

if you could see all these problems, why did you buy the car then?

they found no leaks anywhere on the vehicle. ford is sending out a field engineer to look at it.

I also have this smell. in mine it is so bad that you get headaches and nauseus (? sp). i dropped it off at the dealer thinking the cats were plugged. dealer said everything checked out ok on the exhaust. they couldnt find anything wrong so after they replaced teh cabin filter they asked me to pick it up. I politely refused until they fix it. They aparently never drove the car to actually get a whiff of the smell. after driving the car around, the service manager called me back and said that he smelled the odor but has no clue what it could be. first, they guessed maybe a mouse died in the car somewhere. after tearing the car apart and not finding a mouse, they sent a message to fords technician bulletin. appaerently, the awd system has been reported to be the culprit and they have no fix for this yet. ford told the dealer to give me the car back and run it on recirc until they find a solution. supposedly running on recirc will minimize the amount of fumes coming into the car. my service manager told them no way is he returning a customers car that gets him sick. so for now we wait to hear what else ford will propse to do. at least i get to drive a beautiful sea foam green focus......... By the way, i have a 2011 ford edge sport with 15,000 miles. Thanks, pete

i have had my 2011 sport now for about 2 months. i have so far encountered 3 issues with it. first, the blind spot warning system seems to go on the fritz at the same street location at least once a week. system is restored after i restart the vehicle. the warning i receive says to check with the owners manual. secondly, its seems that when i am on the phone (through the sync system) my volume creeps down. i will have it on max, but then its seems to creep down to mid level. every time. third, drivers seat creaks. especially around turns. anyone else have these issues? thanks, Pete

just saying introducing my self as a new owner (well, in couple hours anyway!) of a 2011 Kona Blue edge Sport AWD. I hope this car is as good as everyone on this board says it is! one observation, there aren't a lot of Kona blue sports on this site. Maybe some pics to follow. thanks, pete
