USB Music Skipping/Locking Up

I have the same problem with my MKX. tried different USB flash dives, reformated and reripped the cds and it still skips. This was done with a 2G and 8G flash drives. I also did try an older 512M drive and did not notice any problems on the short time I let it play. Hope it's a software fix.
