While replacing a safety belt the Airbag light triggered once the battery was reconnected. Can this be reset without a dealer visit? if so how.

Its a 2008 Limited. It looks easy, I wanted to check on that pre-tension connector. Then I have to search for a way to get the sill plates off without having to replace them. Thanks

I have a used Edge and the seat belts are dirty and picked, which leaves a very rough feel. If they were just dirty I could have them cleaned. The dealers says the small holes and picks to the fabric were caused by the previous owner. They don't present a safety concern. Any know if the seat belts are an easy DIY replacement? Any special precautions with the pretensioner connection? Seems simple to pop the trim and unbolt them but do not want to trigger a airbag fault code.
