I just acquired a 2007 EDGE SEL. Wonderful car!
With the time change I noticed the steering wheel controls and the shifter do not have any backlighting.
Is this normal? I see backlighting on the front doors and most controls on the dash.
Also, do the buttons around the INFO button have a backlight? I am questioning the Headlight dial as well. Seems only to light up a fog-light indicator.
I found I have a short somewhere - a 15 amp fuse was blown. I replaced it and it immediately blew.
Are these common? Sounds like it could get expensive having a dealer trace whats going on here.
