So why did you pick Audiovox over the others? What were the others you considered?

Another Update: Took it to the dealer this morning to have the repairs done (already got it back this afternoon). They gave me a loaner without even asking. Here's the kicker on the loaner: the rental dept wasn't open yet and the only thing they had available was a Mustang convertible...and some of you folks were given a lowly Focus...of course it was 28 degrees when I left with it; so much for trying it with the top down...at any rate, repairs are good and I'm satisfied.

It could easily be painted Carbon and redeem itself from the red/black shortcomings...

6'4" 190lbs and no issues here. I was on a 3 hour non-stop drive not too long ago and don't remember having to shift around to stay comfortable.

A 2 way speaker has what? That's right Bob, 2 speakers that work separately from each other (designed for 2 different sets of frequency ranges). The plate in each door is a 2 way (not an 8 way in all; still a 2 way set up).

Now you're splitting hairs...it's 2 speakers mounted on a single plate, so one plate, 2 speakers. Co-ax's are 2 speakers too... I would also recommend the Polk set. Had a pair of 6.5"ers in a pick up once, and had great midbass coverage

I have on a couple occassions, but nothing recently; mine is FWD.
