Sounds like components are the way to go. How would the install go on an Edge? Where would i put the tweeter? I dont really want to modify much as I may trade this vehicle in a couple years and I dont want to do anything that would lower its resale value.

Hey guys/gals I have a 2009 SE. I really enjoy it so far... had it for a month or so now. I have the stock radio with mp3. Im interested in getting better sound quality. I heard I can just change the factory speakers with better aftermarket ones and achieve a big boost in quality without going through the hassle and expense of changing the headunit and adding amps. I would like the best bang for my buck. So far, all I know is that I need 4 6x8 speakers. I have read that 4-way speakers are ideal, but 2-way speakers provide more bass. I am looking for a very rich sound but also some bump. Would it be wise to but 4-ways in the front and 2-ways in the back? Im a total novice when it comes to audio so if im completely off-track please set me straight! Could anyone provide examples of a good speaker to buy? Also, has anyone had any luck with installing a touch screen system with navigation? Just a thought in the back of my mind right now. Thanks in advance for your help folks! Austin
