I actually went to Erinwood to get mine. I know a service manager at a dealership and he confirmed the issues Ford was having and they have now released the fix and cable as you suggested

I dont think they are trying to cover it up. I think they just dont know. They sold a few edges, and i am the only one with problems, other than the ones on this forum. For sales talk to Bryan (last name I forget) or the sales manager Brian Anderson (i think) I am bad with names.
In my experiences with local ford dealers Fraser has been great,. and marigold and was terrible.

Who did you deal with at Fraser ?
I called them and the guy who books the appointments said he is not aware of any issues with myford touch and the screens going blank ?
Called a few other to and they said the same thing. Wonder if employees are trying to cover this up ?
