  1. These are SOLD!!! I have a set of Headrest DVD Players that have just been removed from a 2008 Edge. They are in very good condition and are available immediately. I have a lot more pictures if desired. These are about a year old. These have zipper covers that are attached to hide and protect the players. They still have the plastic film on the screens. These are adjustable and will fit other vehicles. • Each headrest includes a built-in DVD player • All wires run up/down the headrest posts so all wires can be hidden under the seats or carpet. • 9" DIGITAL LCD screen • Aspect ratio: 16:9 wide screen 800 x 480 • Connect up to 3 RCA a/v inputs into each headrest. Can connect game system, other headrest or in-dash units for example. • Color system PAL/NTSC • Supports DIVX, Compatible with DVD,CD,CDG,MP4,MP3,WMA,JPG • Wireless FM radio transmit function to your vehicle stereo system • Built-in stereo speakers with power magnifier and surround sound • Send IR wireless signal for wireless headphones (2 channel A/B options) • all-in-one remote control and game controllers. • 2 dual channel (A/B) IR audio wireless headphones They are tan in color and I would like to get $250 for everything. These are very easy to install. Please let me know if you are interested or have other questions. Email me at mark.a.ginter@gmail.com TIA, Mark
  2. Here is what I ended up with. These are made of 3/4", 1/2" and laminater 1/4" PVC. They turned out pretty good, but thay are a bi*ch to build. With the gluing and clamping I spent and entire day just in the assembly. The manufacturing of the parts took me about as long as well. The last step is to spary them with truck bed liner to help with noise and positioning. If you are still interested contact me, but I warn you, they will not be cheap. Then there is shipping......
  3. Well, I finally got a set of these built, after several prototypes, and just cant be competitive. I can get the price of the material and parts manufacturing within reach, but the assembly time and shipping are the killers. The end up being very large and shipping becomes unrully. So sorry I wasn't able to deliver.......
  4. Well, it looks like I need to get busy.... I will get a file built this weekend and see what I come up with...... Thanks for your interest. Mark
  5. Well, I got the Huskys!! I like them a lot. They fit really well and cover up all the wear areas..... I am very pleased! Thanks for all the input!
  6. My wife and I are looking at the Edge and planning to do graphics of some sort. Anyone seen anything that reall jumps out. I like the paint options that have been posted, but I am looking for something a little more cost effective...... The last thing I did was an 05 Mini Cooper S, but it was pretty easy. The Mini was like a little kid yelling for attention! :hyper: For the Edge I wasn something a little more conservative, but still jumps...... So if you have seen something that is cool or have an idea, let me know...... Thanks, Mark
  7. I had WeatherTech in the Buick and really liked them. The only down side is that they don't cover the dead pedal which leave carpet exposed. I know that is nit picken, but If I am going to put a liner in I want it to cver everything. Another thing that I don't like is that WeaterTech has a hole for the mat hook. If you are taking on mud anslush, which I will, it will flow right through..... I am leaning toward the Husky Liners...... Thanks for your comments! Mark
  8. Has anyone found a picture of what is offered from the factory? It might be nice to see the layout as they would have optimised to size of the compartments and so forth....
  9. Hi all - We just got rid of our piece of junk Buick Enclave and pick up a nice 2008 White Chocolate Edge Limited. We are really happy with it. I need to add floor liners, a DVD system, body side molding, etc. So I will be looking through the Forum listings for help and ideas.
  10. Hi - We just picked up a 2008 Edge and I want to put floor liners to put in. I have it down to WeatherTech and Husky..... Any preference? Thanks, Mark
  11. Hi All - We just purchased a 2008 Limited and in looking over the vehicle, I noticed the two rather large foam block in the spare tire area. I was thinking that this is a huge waste of storage space. I did some looking and really didn't see anything to put in there for a storage system. I did read where some people had hollowed out the foam block. So this got me thinking, I have a CNC router and was thinking of making a storage system for this area. So I thought I would check the temperature to see if there is any interest in something like this from others. My intention is to make it from Expanded PVC sheet and glue them up. I do understand that price is an issue, so I would make them to be durable, lightweight (for shipping), and as inexpensive as I can. Since there is always benefits in scales of economy, I thought that I would see who would be interested. This is not a commitment, but a request for need or wants. Right now I am looking at doing them for the previous 2010 and earlier vehicles, but would certainly consider making them for the 2011 model if I can get a foam sample and have interest. If you have questions about this please let me know. I am going to build a set for myself regardless. However if I know people are interest I can optimis the units to be as cost effective as possible. Thanks for your time, Mark
