You've gotta try Black Again. Under $10 from Amazon. Use it on my wife's 07 Edge and it looks as good now as it did in Sept(last time I applied). Even after 2 rounds of lake effect salt(snow). No streaking or chalky residue.

You must have a newer model than my wife's 07. I've done the procedure as outlined in the manual and there are no beeps mentioned.

Thanks for the replies. I've never heard about waiting for the beep after setting #1 or #2. I'll try that first.

My wife's 07 Edge SEL 's driver side mirror is not moving to pre-set position using the controls on the driver's door. When I use her car(I am set for #2 position)the mirror goes up like it's looking at the sky. When she uses it, the mirror looks way out beyond the body line of the car. The seat works fine. Unless I'm not setting the pre-sets properly. Anyone else have this problem? Thanks for any info.

Thanks for the reply. I thought H&R was my only option,but I'm wondering if I'm going to wear out the shocks(since they have 50K on them). It seems that lowering the car on fresh shocks might last longer than ones that have 50K on them,and I don't believe that factory shocks are the best anyway.

For all you guys(gals)who have lowered their Edge,which spring do you like best? Any thoughts on replacing shocks while doing this? Any other misc parts need to be changed(spring seat, boot that covers the shock,etc.)? I probably won't do this project until fall,as I know I'll need a 4-wheel alignment,and I'd rather do this with stock wheels(don't trust damaging my new 20's I just bought).BTW car has almost 50K on the clock. Any feedback is appreciated.

I went with Rohana RC10's. Specs are 20x9...offset 35. Tires are Yokohama Prada Spec X 275-45's. Wheels are much better looking in person.

After a long Michigan winter, I finally cleaned up my wife's 07 Edge. I'm loving the new wheels I bought over the winter. Hope you all like.

I was cleaning my wife's 07 Edge today,and when I cleaned the steering wheel(it had black marks like from sweaty dirty hands)with Meguiar's all -purpose cleaner(diluted 50-50), it got all the marks off and the color(camel)came off also!! I thought I was seeing things,the more I rubbed the more the color came off...I know I should have stopped while I was ahead. I thought the leather covering was just that,leather. Then I tried Lexol leather cleaner/cond. and it didn't make it aany worse,nor any better. Has anyone had an issue like this? I'll probably look for a used wheel on line. The car is in too good of shape to let this go.

How easy is it to change out the cheap chrome plated plastic fog lamp bezels? After 6 Michigan winters,my wife's Edge needs to be swapped out. TIA

ASA JH8 wheels,sliver/with machined lip. Specs are 20x9 offset 45mm bolt pattern 5x114.3(5x4.5"). Used in summer only. Wheels are in very good condition. Had them on my wife's 07 Edge. Price is $300+shipping. I am located in SW lower Michigan.

Is it possible(feezable)to put a 2008 liftgate on my wife's 2007 Edge? I only want the comfort of lifting the liftgate from the bottom instead of at chest height. Any replies are appreciated.

Got it fixed at the dealer. They can't be tightned...only replaced,then painted to match. Cost was $215.

My 07 Edge's driver's door handle is getting pretty sloppy when you open it. I know the door weighs a ton,but is there an easy fix or take it to a repair shop? The other door handles are quite tight,so I know this could easily fall off or come off in time without getting it looked at. Thanks in advance.

For all of you guys(gals)that have oem 20" wheels,what does Ford recommend for air pressure. I have got some 20's on my 07 Edge and want to inflate them properly. Thanks in advance.

ASA JH8 wheels(20x9 offset 45) with Goodyear Fortera SL tires(275-45-20). Used 3 summers and are in very good condition. Tires have approx. 16,000 miles on them. Were $1600 new,asking $700.
