Am I the only one wondering how you are going to pay off the loan? Is it a lease? Are you independently wealthy and did you pay cash for it?

Gas mileage, on average, less than 16 MPG. This is terrible. I don't care if it is winter, this is bad. I have a 2008 with tow package but no AWD. I know the car is heavier, but geez, this is ridiculous. Engine Performance - RPMs revving. It seems that when I step on the gas to go up a small hill or on-ramp, the RPMs seem to rev up but the car doesn't speed up immediately, seems to take a second or two before I get much repsonse. Once again, I know its a heavier car, my last car was a 2001 Taurus and I liked the response I got when I stepped on the gas. Price-This is actually a lot my fault, should have gone for the lease instead of buying it. Didn't cross my mind until it was too late. Ugh! Now I cringe every time I see commercials for leases on cars. Didn't have a trade-in because I sold the Taurus to a sister-in-law who is making payments. Other than the above complaints, I do love the car. I like the height, very easy to get into. The car seems very luxurious. Enjoy the sync and the NAV, although it does seem like they could add some POIs. LOVE my remote start! Love the automatic tailgate. Still enjoy the look and style.

You can convert the protected files using software like http://www.wma-mp3.com/ http://www.soundtaxi.info/ I used soundtaxi to convert ITUNES (.M4P) files to .MP3 files. Then I copied those converted files to the USB flash drive and they played fine with SYNC!

I've found that when she asks "phone, is that correct?" it's because she didn't understand you completely. I'm kind of soft spoken so if I speak a little louder and clearer, she seems to understand the command.

I just picked my '08 Limited up on Saturday (10/13) and it has Michelin brand tires on the 18" wheels.

I just had Ford install my remote starter yesterday. Cost was $390 total. I believe all it does is start the engine, so if you want the heater to blast, and the heated seats on, then you would have to leave it that way when you get out of it.

Just brought my baby home today. Plan playing with a lot of the features tomorrow. I will check this out and see if I get the same result.

Just talked to the sales manager, said my car is here in KC. They are picking it up today, going to do the PDI, (diagnostics?) and then detailing and fillin' her up. I am picking her up tomorrow. Probably won't be able to sleep tonight! :hyper: Build date was 10/01.

Personally, I wish Ford had offered both a BAMR and a LAMR. I didn't order the BAMR on my '08 because I wanted a hard cover shade like the one on my '01 Taurus, not a cloth shade. Other posts from members in LA and other hot spots had mentioned how hot the car gets with the cloth shade. So even though the BAMR is a huge selling point for some, for others, it's not about the money, it's about comfort.

My dealer asked for $200. I ordered on 8/15, was supposed to be built on 10/01. They did cash my check. Said it should be here in about 10 days

I am having my dealer put mine in after market. Not sure of the price, but figured they would be the most knowledgeable. You might check with your dealer on the price.

Looks nice! Curious, what don't you like about the FWD?

I went with the FWD. Haven't had any problems getting around KC in my FWD '01 Taurus. Figured with the heavier/higher profile Edge that I would get around even better.
