Hello Folks, So far so good! Love everything about the Edge, very few querks,,, nothing I can't adjust too, BUT I do have one single beef!!! The rear seatbelts! My kids while in their booster seats cannot buckle themselves in...the femal buckle is recessesed and the seat positioning is so narrow that the booster seat extends over the buckle,....I knew the middle seat would be an issue, but did NOT expect this from the regular seats....now I need to a seatbelt extender...anyone share the same problem? Where could I find one that would fit....hoping my dealer could help..

I got mine on Monday, but I'm having problems posting a picture...can't figure out why. :stats: No real problems to report yet, maybe the glove box could of been a little bigger..the manual barely fits in it. What a great ride! As luvford always says "Worth the wait"

Here's a YAHOO for you!! :happy feet: Dealer just called..Lucky they did cause I was giving them just another hour before I started to stalk Edge will be ready for pickup for Monday..they have service the vehicle with the dealer installed options I had..Rust proffing..tri-care..ect... Will post Monday night!!

Slowy were all going to disappear from this board...just been tweeted that mine has been shipped yesterday (only an hour away from Oakville)...so I am expecting a call from my dealer..unkowing to them that I know this!!.... This thread will pave the way for future anxious edge owners!! Will post pictures and opinions when I get it!!.. Was fun following everyone's thoughts!!

Hi Ron, Go back to the email they sent you, and click the 2nd link way down at the bottom of the page.. The first link you click just brings you back to the site....it's the 2nd link that actually gives you access.. like me, you were too quick and did not read the email..

Hello, Thanks for the info, I was so excited to ask only not to be able to post because it is protected. How do I post. My dealer has been absolutely no help to me and I don't want to sound like I'm stalking them,,,,,could you please aks for me????? pretty please...I can read the posts but not if log on...i get this error, that i'm not allowed to enter,. I read all he needs is a dealer number and a cust number... mine is Dealer # 111081 cust# 83712 I would appreciate any feedback! or info how I can get in myself!! Thanks in adavance ddp

Hi BoomBoom, I considered getting it, but already overpaying for the DVD system(wife wanted the clean look) and the thought of it ever breaking swayed me to pass...as well as the HID light's. They are so blinding that I fear that one day they may blind oncoming traffic into heading you head on..!!! Other then that, she's pretty loaded....like you suggested, there are no regrets...JUST get me MY EDGE!!!...LOL

First time positing..I too just ordered AWD Limited 2 weeks ago..still dont know the VIN number, wondering when to expect one so that I can follow the progess online... Would like to share the deal I got from Toronto to help those compare....warning, everytime I think I got a great deal, it turns there was better..,but after an exhausting dealer hoping..we found the right deal....kicker was my trade in of $7400 when the rest of the field was offering max $5,000.00 for my 2004 beat up MPV.... plus I had a clunker that I got $2,300 for...plus the employee pricing..($5k)//no other ford incentive deals,....that I read AFTER my purchase that I may of been eligable for...see what I mean when deals pop up after the face...oh well, I'm OK with the price...let me know what you think: AWD Limitied White DVD headrest system Canadian touring Vision package 20" tires upgrade complementary floor mats, and cargo package,bug deflector 60 mth warranty premium rust proofing(negative ion release gadget under the hood) $42,100 out the door including my trade in....plus add my 2K from ford and the 300 from the gov,,,it takes me to $39,800.00 Been surfing the web everyday just soaking up any info I can get, the user manual is a great read! if you havent already read it. Love to hear the deals out there..
