Hey! Welcome your going to love the Edge! You can try Carbon Fibre vinyl wrap. As far as I know there is no replacement for that specific part unless you get parts from another model, say a sport which is a smoked silver.

Even the new Explorers that have black interiors have the black headliner to match. Looks a lot sportier all black.

I rustproofed my Edge since day1. I rustproof all my cars with Krown never had rust on any of my rides. Had 1992 blazer that looked brand new, even after 12 years of having it. Great product.

How about some Pics of the interior? Edge looks great! I love the side vents. I have 2011 Sport and am thinking of doing those. Just scared of cutting a whole in my fender to do it, and hate the cheap stickers. Maybe some LEDs on the side vents as side turning lights??? Just something to think about.

Thats what I did. Since the 2011 Edge Sport didnt come with it either. I didnt feel comfortable cutting open my visor to put in the homelink module, and the whole visor from Ford with homelink is too expesive, and finding a used one in good shape and correct color was tough. The mirror was much easier to do for me. $60 used from ebay (looks brand new) for the mirror w/harness, 1hr for install.

Hey guys look again at the pics from the auction. Specifically the headlights of the test vehical (be sure to scroll down to the last 2 pics), Im liking the clear side corners (where we currently have orange reflector). Anyone know where to get those? Also if its available for the sport models, as the sport model headlights are smoked. Stock 22' for Summer and Stock 18' with sensors from Ford wrapped with Hankook iPike for Winter. Ran these the past two winters and they are awesome!

I agree with Edgieguy, I dont want to crack open my engine for some lazy mechanic to do more bad then good if I dont have to. Wondering the same, if left alone how bad will the damage be down the road if any??

Great Job and worth the time and money. Got this done the second day I got my Edge Sport as Canadian winters with salt are just horrible on todays auto paints being thin. Got the whole front end done(hood, fenders, grill, bumper, lower bumper/skirt, sideview mirrors, headlights and side skirts) Best thng I ever done. My Edge looks perfect!

I didnt have any shaking when brakeing either. But when my mechanic started machining the rotors they were out, not much but just enough to cause and out of balance when driving.

Had a very similar issue with my 2011 Sport. I took it in about 5 times before I got pissed and just took it to my personl mechanic. In 5 minutes he found that the front brake rotors were the cause. I didnt feel any shake during braking but they were out just enough to cause vibration. As we have a somewhat "Tuned" suspension these little things make all the difference in the world. Once they were machined all was smooth. Mind you I find the rotors on the Sport Edge crap. I plan to eventually change them to something more durable.
