Hmmmm, would scare the crap out of me. Thank god you are okay, and didn't have a accident. Hope your dealer can figure out what is wrong.

I'll check for sensitivity settings (if there are any). The '09 MS we traded never had issues like this.

Never had the problem with the '09 MKS we traded in. It had front & rear parking sensors, the only thing it didn't have that the new one has is park assist & lane feature. Will get back to the dealer in a few.

I know this is the Edge forum, but I think if I posted to Lincoln MKS forum, I wouldn't get much response/advice, it has very few visitors. Got my wife a new '15 MKS about a month ago, every option, front rear sensors, park assist, the works. We can be at a traffic light or stop street, and the sensors (front/rear ???) start going off for no reason. We had a person walk past the car this morning, and it stared going beep, beep, drives ya nuts. I was wondering if anyone has experienced this with their vehicle. I have to make an apt with the dealer, just wondering if anyone has input on this. Thanks, Joe

Nice pics there, Andy.

Kind of like the silver, gives your rear end a different look !

I wish that someone would produce on that is stainless steel with rubber, ie Mercedes has.

Have a MKX, hope I still count, because there is hardly anyone on the MKX forum. Weekends are cutting grass, washing the cars, going to Polka dances and spending time with family & friends.

Russ, Taking my '12 MKX for service on Wednesday, am going to have them check my BAMR, seems slow on closing. Send me a P/M with your phone number, I'll call you when I get it back, I hate typing on the forums, especially long explainations. -

Well, about 99 % down.

Congrats & enjoy. Took my wife's MKS in for servicing the other day, saw a new Edge in the showroom - very sweet and spacious.

I woud check for bad wheel bearing, had problem like this when I had my '06 Explorer.

If you change the cabin filter, and it still smells, I would DEFINATELY go to another dealer. Why not contact regional zone manager with this complaint ? This is not an acceptable answer to buy a air freshner - Arseholes !

Enjoy your new Edge, congrats.

We haven't leased for quite a number of years, but when we did, GAP insurance was part of the lease payment, but it WAS NOT a 'free-bee'. Not sure if dealers can charge different interest rates, will be interesting to see what other dealers have to say.

I did lease extensions years ago, trying to decide on what Ford vehicle to buy next.

When you hit the eject button, and it's trying to eject the CD, take another cd and partially insert it into the slot to help guide out the Cd in there. Had this happen a number of time when I had my '06 Explorer. Hope this works for you.

Had a '70 Ford Galaxie "XL" Sportsroof with a 390 in it. Moved pretty good, and was roomy as hell. Even at 6' 3", there was still plenty of back seat legroom. Never bothered to check gas mileage, gas was cheap, didn't matter. It had a "cockpit" designed dashboard, it kind of wrapped around the drivers compartment, pretty cool back then.

On both of our cars, I use a product called Collinite 845 - Insulator wax. Great stuff, but first need to use a cleaner/polish ( I use Meguires cleaner/wax), then the Collinite.
