Reverse Sensing System (Park assist) (if equipped) This feature sounds a warning tone to warn the driver of obstacles near the rear bumper, and functions only when R (Reverse) gear is selected. 1. Select this function from the SETUP menu to disable the reverse sensing system feature. 2. Press the RESET control to turn the rear park assist OFF. When R (Reverse) gear is selected, PARK ASSIST OFF will be displayed. It is in the manual under message center.

I've seen people use the Butt Dyno and report that they can tell how much better and more power they get with just a change in the brand of oil they use. LOL. When you put a vehicle on a Dyno, I'd think it's almost impossible NOT to get a printout.. At least I know I got one when I did it. Then again, it cost me each time it was done. This vehicle is called BOLD AMERICAN DESIGN, (someday a fordedgeforum 'FEF' member name I'm sure) a CD3 platform. You've got people moving into it from ricer's, who to them it was putting a Borla exhaust on a Civic, and whining it out, and that is powerrrrrr......... zoom zoom. I punched out 440 6pak's. Go the opposite route to them. One-way mirror treatment on the inside. Actually the Flex rear door will be chromed, so then your already ahead of the curve.

Depending on how long your own your vehicle, your not going to like changing the plugs. To change the rear bank, you'll have to pull the intake manifold. I don't even think Ford still advertises a 100K mile plug anymore. Hopefully they will still last that long or longer.

$14. / ea. It's great to Live in America. I love the graphics on that can, probably cost an extra $1 to apply it. However, are you going to safety wire that can so it doesn't unscrew? Attaching that drilled nut was probably about $3+ extra. With hand pressure, you just screw the filter 3/4 turn once it contacts the mounting boss. You won't even have room to put a 1" wrench on that nut to loosen it. And their marketing stress's how good the can is for Burst pressure. IF you reach burst pressure, you've already starved the engine of oil, and the internal filter by-pass has failed. But great looking filter for $14 thou. K&N supplies NO Filter Beta rating, nor micron filter rating. My guess is it's about a 20+ micron. Your just buying a name. What you need to consider/know in a filter is, HOW WELL IT FILTER's! I spent just under the same money on one, but this isn't an endorsement posting. I'd personally love to install a by-pass filter system on the 3.5L. But as yet, I can't figure out where to mount one. If I use the oil filter location on the engine, running lines to a filter relocation/bypass system, runs the lines too close to the large canister dropping down from the exhaust header. Then running the lines under the front trans-axle to a location just to the front side of the rear doors, looks like it will extend to low under the undercarriage for me. Just looking over these thing's on the Edge looks like good engineering work from Ford. By-pass filtering is probably over-kill, but it has been something I'm trying to research to use. Hopefully I'll find a place to install one. Even checked under the battery tray. Their is litterly no room in the engine bay for anything to be added.

I did. I had the complete Ziebart package. Remember it's mainly marketing and way over priced, but that's how business is. I went with the sound package/window tint too. That's suppose to be an extra thick coat of undercoating. When I got home and took a look under it, I saw area's where they missed. Well for $800, it wasn't acceptable so back to the shop. After he hemmed and hawed to me about it, he caved and had it put back on the lift and the bottom re-shot while I watched this time. As for Diamond Gloss, I wouldn't do that again. NO one makes a product that is better than anyone Else's, I bought this JEFFS Werkstatt , Extra Prime, extra this and that, and one of the packages. Used the prime at about 1 oz. per treatment. Enough for 8 years/twice a year. About $100 worth, and was tickled pink over it, extremely happy. I just looked under another vehicle I own that I had undercoated 8 years ago, and never went back, man that's a lot of Rust. I will try to keep this undercoat warranty in effect. I've gone anal on keeping mine clean now. California car duster while it sits parked in the garage, Bugs wiped off the front after each run. Rain treatment for the window. etc etc. It may only be a Lincoln, but I'm very proud of it.

He uhhh, ended up not liking his edge.. said it had a lot of problems. Came back on and was preaching how we all would hate the day we bought one. Wonder if it was because of what he did to it. I notice all of his posts have been deleted now also.

Watching this approach on a highway, I had to wait til it was close to see if it's a Ford. Only then, by the 3 bar grille would I know it wasn't. Chrysler just announced it was discontinuing this. Along with 3 other models and 12K more people thru 2008. Slicing up the company to sell it away now. This is History now, probably by this time next year.
